hey!
First time in this talk NFL forum.. yay..
just wanted to tell all of you that i think this year's super bowl trophy is gonna go to San Diego.. With LT being back in shape, and Merriman being back.. i don't think anyone's gonna be able to stop em.. particularly not the steelers

just wanted to throw that out there.

Mark, you are entitled to your opinion so I am not going to tell you 'SD will not win it' like most other people will do

I am a Patriots fan, and still believe we have the team to beat. Of course, if JT comes in to help also, pass rushing should get a little more help!

guru, you i agree with you.. the patriots are a prety good team. but i don't think it was a smart move to let cassel go to kansa city. i think brady doesn't have what it takes anymore.
just like you said, i respect your opinion as well. but seriousely.. the bolts have one of the most talented roster in the league.. so i don't know anything out of the top of my head that could keep them from winning the trophy
well.. i'm not sure.. do the bolts play the patriots this season? if so.. it's gonna be one hell of a game, and i look forward to seeing it.

1, How do you know Brady will have changed?

2, The Patriots got rid of a lot of salary cap by trading Cassell - There is a lot more to that trade than what first meets the eye.

3, Is it not the same 'unbeatable' Chargers team from last year?

1. you're right, i can't say for sure, but i just believe that he's not gonna be the same brady again.
2. i have to agree with you here as well.. it's just that cassel shows soo much talent.. i just think the patriots could have gotten much more out of that deal.

and last but not least:
3. i don't know if i would call it the same team. LT was injured almost through the entire season. he is ready to roll now. Shawne Merriman.. SD's most important defensive player in 2007 is back from his kniw injury.. he didn't play at all, except one game , last season.Other important players, like TE antonio gates, nick hardwick, center, and marcus mc niel guard, are healthy again as well. So i think the team is a whole lot different from last season.

And even if it weren'.. they still made it to into the playoffs, and beat the colts in the wildcard game.

Honestly Mark, I hate to burst your bubble, but I'm friends with some people who, let's say, know their stuff and, for the time being, the chargers aren't even favorites in the division. Some of the guys don't think they'll make the playoffs..

But it's awfully early, and I haven't scouted the team since the end of last season, so I don't know personally. Just passin on some stuff I've been hearin..

Mark, LT has not been the same for a while! Ironic that you think Brady will not be back to his best! Heck, Sproles is better Or has he been traded? I am not too sure.

On the injuries card, everyone gets them, it is just how you respond to them. What are backups for?

oh.. no worries.. you're not bursting anything... honestly.. i'm not one of those fan's, whose world collapses, the second their team gets kicked out of the playoffs. i just wanna see good football games, and hopefully see the chargers hold the super bowl trophy in the end.. but if not.. oh well..
i'm just saying i think they are a really young, talented team.. who's time (in my opinion) has ome to win the super bowl
