Mark, LT has not been the same for a while! Ironic that you think Brady will not be back to his best! Heck, Sproles is better Or has he been traded? I am not too sure.

On the injuries card, everyone gets them, it is just how you respond to them. What are backups for?

well LT is a whole story of his own haha and no.. sproles hasn't been traded. he was franchised... thank god.
yes.. you're right.. but even with these backups.. they made it to the quarter finals.. so aren't the bolts gonna play even better, once all their starters are back in action?

If the Patriots can get to a playoff record - but not get into the playoffs - with their 'backup' QB?

Jokes aside, this was the first time I properly followed the Draft. I cannot wait to watch the NFL season without having to do any University work

Personally I don't think Brady will be as good as before, but he'll still be in the top 25% of QB's in the league. That'll be good enough to make the Patriots a team to watch.

The Chargers are up there too. With Merriman healthy and 2 great running backs, it's hard to count them out. The key will be Rivers taking it to the next level. Plus don't overlook the motivation factor. This is a team that hasn't won one yet and who's window may be closing. They need to win one soon or they else they may be waiting a while.

I think Steelers are still the odds-on favorites. They were injured all last year at runningback, and they still won it all.

Of course, the Giants are pretty decent if their Defense returns to form.

I agree the Steelers are the favorites, but the Giants, Patriots, Colts, and a few other teams are good as well.

Much as it's way too early ins the season to predict anything here goes.

Much as I enjoy watching the chargers(LT and Tom brady got me to my first NFL Fantasy SB, which I lost) I don't think LT is gonna be as strong as he was. They are gonna give him more carries but sproles showed real potential last year and SD would be nuts not to put him in as soon as LT doesn't perform. Don't know how LT will react to that.

the Pats are always a good bet to be unpredictable if nothing else. Generally always considered a playoff contender, like the colts, they seem to be losing their hold on their division in the midst of changes. Although one change I would like to see them make is to take that whining Julius Pampers off our roster (Panthers fan)

The colts are in the midst of backroom changes, and it'll be intersting to see how it pans out on the field. again a team slightly less impressive than they used to be.

Chicago look good for a playoff run if they can gel given all their additions.

The NFC South is going to be the most unpredictable division this year.

Carolina have not made much impact in the draft or free agency, and still have JD at QB (reserve the right to slag him off after the first few games if he doesn't get it together). I hope they trade Pmapers for a 1st round pick and get a decent young QB to develop into our next QB. Jakes new deal is only so we can get decent compensation for him when we decide to let him go.

The Bucs, Saints and Dirty Burds have all made moves that on paper strengthen themselves, and if they all work out then it's gonna be on hell of a season in the south east!!!

I would like to predict that we win the division again and hopefully kick some AZ hide in the playoffs to make up for last year. at this point this is probably more hope than a prediction.
