I'm not familiar with the Dolphins schemes. So certain players might be better fits from the inside. Looking from the outside, it wasn't a good class for them. But as I said, I have no knowledge of their schemes.

I mostly agree with project.

First down was a homerun. We filled a need with one of the 5 best prospects in the draft after trading down 5 spots in exchange for 2 defensive starters. Baltimore was going to take him but the video made them look elsewhere. I dont care if he smoked at a party when he was a freshman, I care if he fails drugs tests and he never had such issues.

The rest is so and so. I especially dont like Drake and dont get why we needed so many WR even though Carroo is a beast. The CB is a work in progress, they think he will start/play an important role but he doesnt look ready to me. Got beaten deep too much.

I wanted them to draft a LB but nothing happened.

I'd say it's a B/B+ because I factor in Alonso and Maxwell but there was a lot of luck involved in Tunsil sliding.

Regarding knowledge of the offensive scheme Henry is not a fit. Gase wants versatility and efficiency, doesnt look for a workhorse. The actual offensive scheme is not known but Gase stated such things. Running game is a complement for him, the bulk of the offense relies on passing the ball

I agree with most of this, other than the comment on Henry. Why would he have not been a good fit? Henry is going to be one of the steals of the draft. I was surprised to not see him go toward the end of the 1st round. Henry is capable of slipping into virtually any offense. He can run, catch, block..........um, what more could you want in an NFL back? Anyway, overall, just a mediocre draft...........as usual

Personally I dont like him much but there are schemes better suited to him.
He is more of a power than a zone runner and Miami will be running more zone, will use quick backs (not a coincidence that they drafted a quick versatile back from Bama). I don't think he is a very good pass catcher and Gase values that. Could be good in our offense as a short yardage back but not with a 2nd rounder. We had to go CB in the 2nd round. I would be pissed if we drafted Henry or any other RB.

His yards per catch is an impressive 16.8 over his 3 year career but his total number of catches is only a timid 17 in 39 games, so I suspect he is either rubbish at catching the ball but if he somehow manages it then he goes quite a distance, or they just didn't use him as a pass catcher (maybe for reason 1).

Doubt he'll be in on 3rd and long anyway, let's put it that way.

Being a big SEC fan, I may be biased, but please note Alabama has been popping out great WR's for some time now and they just didn't throw that much to the backs. When they did, he was just as potent as running the ball out of the backfield (note the yards per catch). Anyone that knows bama football (this coming from a Gator fan), knows they are run heavy and passing to match ups on the outside. They run multiple TE sets, which emphasizes either the run or the pass option. Working out of the shotgun primarily, the back turns into more of a blocker on passing plays. Henry is a combination of power and speed. The best thing to do is sit back and watch how he does. I predict he will be among the rookie of the year candidates, especially landing where he did. I don't see how Henry would not have been a good fit anywhere, but no worries, the season will be here before we know it

I suspect he was never the starter and Bama doesn't throw it to their running backs often.

Do you follow college football? I will give you 1 guess who won the most recent Heisman Trophy? You are correct, they just don't throw to the running backs a lot, as I explained in some sort of detail in my last post. I will assume you were trying to be funny
