there have been a few team specific threads recently. The current threads about them are about past topics and don't relate to the team in general. There are reports of the dolphins falling of love with Dorial Green Beckam. I would enjoy him in a Dolphins uniform.

Every potential first round pick has been linked to every team. It will be interesting to see where the pieces all fall. I don't think Green-Beckham will last long enough to be on the Dolphins. Character flaws while seems interesting reading for the media to play out. Draft day it doesn't seem to matter for teams. And a player like him is only available once per draft, sometimes every 2 seasons.

I do think that they will have a chance at either Cooper, White or Green-Beckham. It just a matter of which WR needy teams drafts which first.Last edited on 2015-04-03 at 1:08

As far as what I've heard he's only been linked to Chiefs/49ers. And there are 3 receivers that are expected to be before him.

Well you got Josh Freeman. I'm now torn between disliking and liking the Fins.

Yeah I don't see him getting much of a chance. Tennefail will have to get a long term injury. Then Moore will have to struggle badly before the give him a go. He'll succeed, but he is missing alot of gametime. And by the time he starts to comes good, Tennefail will be back from injury. Something will really have to go crazy for him to see a single snap.

There is 18 QBs doing better then RGIII (and he is not far from bust unless he brings back rookie year form). Tannehill ranked 13th if you exclude Calson Palmer in QB ratings. He might have put up so good yardage in a pass happy team for 2014. But he ranks behind the like of Smith, Rivers, Ryan, Wilson, Fitzpatrick.* And only the Falcons had better receiver than the Fins.

I will gove him this though. He has improved all of his 3 seasons. Season 4 could be interesting. And if he keeping improving for a few more seasons, then wowzers. If the give him tool he can work with, then Tannehill might have a winning change to do something good. I don't know if they have this season. The Dolphins I don't think improved their receiver corps, but mainly got the same talent for cheaper money. But maybe better harmony within the offensive unit can yield better results. I'm sure they don't wanna be mediocre for another season. A playoff sport would be good.

I personally think they should have spent good money on a receiver rather than Suh. Suh is nice, but the current defense weren't no smucks.

I'm keen to watch this division this coming season. Pats are the Pats, their defense probably is in decline. Although I think the Bills and the Jets have made very good roster improvements. Bills will be interesting viewing this season. If the Dolpins and Jets want a playoff spot, they are gonna have to win twice against the Pats and Bills.

* = I'm surprized to see Fitzpatrick have ther 8th best QB rating amoung starters.

I don't know but I would be surprised if Green-Beckham gets picked in the first round.

He is talented with a great body but he is not Randy Moss. Doesn't run good routes and lacks some agility and is not as explosive as Randy was. Not playing last year is going to hurt his stock. Recently you have a Dez Bryant that is a problem child who is doing fine but he is more the exception than the rule. In a draft with a lot of good receivers many teams will perceive he isn't worth the risk.

Tannefail is a good quarterback. He is playing fine and is still learning a position he played only two seasons in college so he still has some room to improve. To be ranked behind players like Ryan Rivers or Wilson is not a shame at this stage. I still think he is dumb as a rock and an incarnated stereotype but as long as he exxecutes I'm not complaining.

The last time Dolphins spent big money on a WR they got Wallace so maybe dont try it again. Management has just unloaded all the rubbish Ireland left on the boat before leaving, receiving corp is unproven but talented, many think Stills can be a star given the opportunity. We'll see.
The Suh signing was a unique opportunity to improve dramatically our defense which was a sore spot for us last season when it mattered the most. They disappeared against the run and were unable to finish off games we almost won against GreenBay and Detroit. Dolphins defense looked good sometimes but wasn't that good at all.

the suh signing was the best thing that could have happened for him. suh has been perfectly healthy all his career and is the best defensive tackle the game has. yeah i bet he wont serve the 6th year of that contract but i bet he'll be in miami to at least 5 of those years. the cap numbers other than next year were actually pretty generous to the team. he makes 8 against the cap this year and 28 against next year. the rest of the time is between 16-12. signing him makes cameron wake more expendable. who will be cut within the next two or three seasons. cameron wake is a beast and i hope he retires as a dolphin. suh will take the dolphins defense to another level. they werent good against the run last year, he will fix that. he will ease the pressure on the linebackers, the corners, the safeties, the other guys on the dline. and with a better defense the pressure will not have to be all on tannehill. the jump he made last year was amazing. i hope they get parker or dgb. they need a true number 1 receiver like one of those two guys. tannehill doesnt stick to one read he spreads the ball around. thats why wallace was a horrible fit for the fins. hes a guy that is all about him and nobody else. i liked hartline, i really did. but last year was horrible. he looked like a system guy and he was getting paid way too much. dolphins are recovering nicely from jeff fireland.
