i like the tunsil pick but for them to salvage the secondary they need to make a big move for a corner tomorrow

Completely biased here, but objectively as I can, Vernon Hargreaves III is the best CB available. He is beyond ready for the next level and could have easily come out a year ago. Whichever team lands him will be the steal of the draft. Any team that can pick up a lock down corner late in the 1st round should be very happy

Whilst I don't agree that he's the best CB in the draft (Ramsey is, and no Ramsey isn't a safety before anyone says it), Hargeaves will definitely transition very well. There's been some talk of the Ravens trading down (seriously hope they don't!) but if they do I hope they can managed to get someone like Hargreaves, although I suspect he goes at 9 to the Bucs.

Ramsey is good, definitely not a safety, but you have to go back to Hargreaves sophomore year to see what you're really getting. I respect all your opinions, so not trying to sway you. It is a defensive heavy draft, but lock down corners and beast DE's are premiums. I would love for him to end up on the Ravens, but they already picked an OL player

Stanley will be a good player, but disappointed with the pick slightly. Although with Ramsey gone Ozzie probably went more to his "best player" mentality rather than more needs based (Ramsey would've filled both). Hargreaves was, I think, a slight reach at 6 but could well have been worth it in the long run.

Hope we go for Mackenzie Alexander in round 2 to fill that CB slot as he's the only game ready corner left now I think. Few decent prospects a bit further down the board for round 3, but with not many left after the 1st round we could see more going in the 2nd. I'm on the fence with Jack now too; would love to just see him get the chance to play as a Raven, but longevity is obviously the huge looming issue.

If Reggie Ragland fell into the Ravens lap at 5, you gotta be happy.

There is some very good first round quality defensive players still there. Doubtful the Chargers will go for defense round 2. So up until the Chiefs, they all get lucky.

I think Tunsil was the pick until he broke out the gas mask. Stanley should wind up being a fine player. Like somebody else mentioned, the defensive depth in this draft is pretty ridiculous.

I've seen one source saying it was Tunsil and they took him off the board completely and I've heard another say it was always Stanley. No way of knowing now but would love to be a fly on the wall! Stanley is a better run blocker, not far behind in pass blocking and has no injuries or off-field issues like Tunsil, so it may be the case that Stanley was the more considered pick anyway!

Now to draft a CB and edge rusher tonight and it's been a decent couple of days...

I dont understand their draft. The got a really good OT in Tunsil. But after that they didn't address their roster issues correctly. Not selecting their worse position needs early, and when they did. They didn't take the best player available.

They are unable to work out management issues, so they keep repeating the same mistakes

i thought the draft was decent. They addressed corner and runningback which were the two largest holes and they got the best offensive line prospect since joe thomas. they seemed to go all out on offense for some reason but i have faith in gase.

They addressed the depth at corner. But they haven't improved it. Unless they see the rookie as a work in progress that can somehow progress early and well into 2016?

they have two very good safeties that should be able to cover for the not so amazing corner play so we will see how that works
