Should cut wake and Jordan Cameron too. Then they would be able to resign Vernon and Lamar Miller.

Best mlb in the draft, the Dolphins have no middle linebacker, kelvin Shepard is not an acceptable starter. If they sign Vernon and cut wake Ragland is the perfect addition to shore up the horrible run defense.

My knowledge of the players is pretty limited to the first round as of now but these are the positions of need

Brent grimes is done drop that salary get a new lockdown corner.

2- DE Shalique Calhoun
Dolphins should retain Olivier Vernon and cut Cam Wake. Calhoun would be a great replacement.

3- G Joshua Garnett
The dolphins offensive line is horrible. They should sign a guard in free angency and draft garnett to fix the issues.

to lower his cap number, he is in the last year of a contract and giving him a new extension would make his cap number smaller. ov is fucking the dolphins entire offseason, hes reportedly looking for 15 million a year which is absolute dogshit. he has not earned robert quinn or jj watt money, simply look at the sacks. OV has one season where he eclipsed 10 sacks, one. whoever pays him 15 million dollars a year is going to realize they fucked up quickly. robert quinn had 19.5 sacks in 2013, and has had over 10 sacks in almost every season of his career. the dolphins need to let him go, yes hes a good player and i wish they could keep him but its just not worth it.

You know what else would lower his cap number? Cutting him.
