How will the stars be distributed if you play a player as f. eks O-line normally and as CB in special teams?

One player can get rating for only one position. In your case that would mean that the player would get CB rating since Special Teams rating is calculated last and replaces the any previous rating calculated for that game (provided that the player plays in a Special Team).

Oh an only Gunners, Punt/Kick Returners, Punter/Kicker and CBs are given rating in Special Teams

Those CB slots are there because not everyone plays with 2 CBs. You can use your regular CBs with no problem

In Special Teams the job of a CB is to stop the Gunners going after the Punt Returner

I'm really sorry but I fear this will only cause more confusion beacause now another feature that doesn't make sense is being added.

In real football the players that line up on special teams who are assigned to block the gunners of the kicking team are also known as gunners and not as cornerbacks.
So skills to look for in a gunner; tackling and blocking plus speed and strength.

But now we will need strong CBs who can block as well as CBs whose task and skills are needed for pass defense. And blocking can be ignored for gunners. Sorry this is just nonsense.

Despite the problems it has this game has real potential. I was hoping that they were just a result of it being a new game and after every season improvements would be made. But sadly I have to say that introducing something new that is not correct in real football terms and can cause more confusion has really shaken my commitment to the game.

So a player whose task it is to block a gunner on special teams will have his positional rating improved for CB in pass defence even though he hasn't played as a CB in a pass defence ?

Special teams are not fully simulated. We added two new roles, Gunners (as in the player that rushes down the field and tries to stop the Punt/Kick Returner) and Punt/Kick Returner. We wanted someone who could stop the Gunners from reaching Punt/Kick Returners in time, this job fell to the Corner Back. We didn't want a new role for that since it would further confuse all those that don't know everything about football. And we did announce this fact when we started creating special teams about a month ago, and at that time the general opinion was in favour of the idea.

So how about deleting cornerback position from special teams and using gunner as a special teamer on both, blocking and headhunting?

My question regarding this is whether or not I'm going to get a stamina penalty if I play someone at WR and KR? Or if I play my CB at CB during returns?
Thanks.

WR and KR would not be advisable because they are two distinct positions. just a heads up there. no confirmation on whether playing both ways affects stamina yet

Right. Part of why I gave those two different scenarios was to find out if it would be preferable to make CBs that can do both jobs or if I should treat them as two different positions. This is a question that only admins can answer at this point, as it would just be conjecture (which I can do fine on my own) by anyone else.
Thanks though.
