Finally a W against Skinks! Figured they went under-strength, but maybe not the case. Justifies the decision to axe some under-performing Kami regulars and give new blood a chance. Still much work to be done for next year, another season of consolidation I predict.

Lots of lower placed team getting the win today. Another week of musical chairs on the standings.

I personally am dissappointed in the Bucs loss. Very poor passing game had today. Never got out of my own half until 38 minutes in the game.

The Bucs season is now over. Time to plan ahead for next season. But I never give up fighting until the end. So decision/s to be made.

Was my normal full strength lineup and additionally I got 2 sacks/intercepts to 1 the other way so not really sure what went wrong. Oh well, keeps things interesting for a little longer.

makes me realise that if i had won at least 1 game against you and katsuben, a TD title had been quite possible. i really wanted to win with the current engine before it changes.

Those FG's seem like an adversary these days.

Skinks seemed to control the game, until Kamikaze held them out and scored in last quarter to make the surprise win.

49ers where strong and started great until the 5 Star Emil Gebert laid down a 52.4% completion.

Projectracing used their second string QB which didnt have as much experience and failed to convert the hail mary in the dying seconds.

Wolverines played against a bot formated Thunder team. Cant do these things in TD Hunter..

Saviours taking out an epic game with a fourth quarter blinda from both sides, however with no answer in the 3rd quarter from the Blue Jays their fate was sealed.

Just thought id do the game review this week guys.

5 straight failed pass attempts to finish off the game. The coach ran out of the computer room with steam shooting out his ears. then went and mowed the lawn.

Saving grace for him, is that he is still a developing player and is still away from being ready control games from the pocket. He will be a Australian National Team player one day with the talent he already shown.

Melbourne Thunder 0-63 Sydney Saviours
The Thunder need to sort out there bus issues. No one turned up to play. Saviours took advantage.

Sunshine Coast Buccaneers 35-14 Melbourne 49ers
Bucs moved to a 14 point lead at halftime. Then failed to move further in the third as the 49ers defence made the Bucs make mistakes. Buc scored 2 more times in the fourth to wrap things up. 49ers weren't going down without a fight and scored the final touchdown.

Kamikaze 77-35 Melbourne Blue Jays
Blue Jays defensive team missed their bus also. Both offenses put on a passing display racking up some huge numbers in the air. 112 point scored in total, WOW!!!

Tuff Gong Iron Backs 7-34 Edwardstown Wolverines
The wolverines played a 2-5 defense and disrupted the Iron backs passing game. There was a 34 minute period where the Iron Backs failed to move out of their own 50. Wolverines were up 20-0 at halftime, then controlled the clock with a slow running game using as many plays as possible to keep the clock ticking over. They got the win in the end.

Slumbering Skink 45-0 Dunedin Huskies
OMFG!!! Buses???

Congrats to the Skinks for winning the division!Last edited on 2012-04-09 at 1:54

Very sneaky offense for the Wolverines.
I also tried a different approach with my back line and didn,t work.

Well done Bucs, but don't celebrate too hard as I played my backup QB and experimented on strategy ahead of cup game.
