I also think the eventual collapse and death of the sun is inevitable. I'm not entirely certain which one is likely to arrive first.

Lots of high scoring games this week. Looks like every teams played their top players compaired to last weeks games.

check out these my weird starting HB stats for 2 games. weird for a pass heavy division:-

Games 2
Touchdowns 1
Rushing (yrd) 141
Rushing (att) 15
Rushing (avg) 9.4
Rushing (lng) 57

Like I keep saying the running game is way underestimated.

My total wage bill for players is only 14th in Oceania yet I am competitive with what looks like much lesser talent according to the "pros". I have average game but more often but I go over 100 yards rushing often enough. My main guy last game with a pass heavy game-plan (for me) had 8 carries for 63 yards and 2 scores.

As I keep closing the gap to the better teams we will see how much more effective it can be.

In this match engine the running game is NOT underestimated - it simply does not exist in any gameplan that is going to win.

As for you "closing the gap" ... well it must be a huge chasm because you are still a long way from being "competitive" against the "pros" but I welcome your enthusiasm.

Well considering your wage bill is 2.2 mil and mine is 468K next week I expect a 50 point belting is on the card then.

At 2.2 mil you now have barely any growing room left before you seriously need to make hard decisions, where as I don't have a problem with that or with the age of my players. The oldest player on my roster is my kicker at 25. My starting QB is only 19 with plenty of upside whereas Gontarczyk has a year or 3 left and won't be getting any better.

A deeper run in the Cup and a top 5 finish this year is my goal, if I don't tank the season like the last 2.

(i)I actually made a profit last season and am making a small profit this season already;
(ii)My wages bill is irrelevant with $20mil sitting in the bank;
(iii)Pawel is just 1 quality QB I have and if need be will spend some cash to buy another - 19years old or 99years old is irrelevant if they are playing and winning;
(iv) you didn't "tank", you finished where all managers finish when they have high aspirations and give up managing after 3 rounds.
(v)I don't need to win by 50 points, just 1 point will do, but if that is required for you to reconsider yourself as shit hot then so be it.
(vi) i really don't think 11/51 players over 25years will require any "hard decisions" for awhile
