Melb/Victoria has a reasonably popular amateur league I know about (though all the teams are based in outer Melbourne or further out). Other than that, I'm not sure why there are so many Melbourne teams running around (both my previous team and current used to named as such also). I know there's always a national championship where state teams compete, so I'd imagine this isn't exclusive to Melbourne/Victoria.

Outside that, amongst personal friends there are a few that also follow the NFL somewhat (enough to play ESPN fantasy) so it's certainly not that rare (but I guess we're the ideal demographic for everything sport - male, 20s, played plenty of different sports throughout childhood, etc).

It does seem likely that you'll remain in 1st place after week 2 but the game still needs to be played first. Long time to go in the season yet

Id say ill be there until round 5.

Nothing as dramatic as the world ending, merely your reign at the top will be shortlived. Your welcome to sit on top until about Round 16 when a last minute fall from grace will likely occur.

Oh..haha..porobably but i will be up there in the top 3..cant see me demoting a division when i have beaten all teams in TD except you and faulcon, however i just missed by a bees dick to beat you both..so anything is possible especially now i have a champ QB! so thats my only ticket...other than that , the new engine will cause a bit of a stir..
