There is no guarantee a 18ish kicker would have made a 40 yarder.

For sure chances an 8ish Kicker to make a 40 yarder imo are very very very low

On kicker i have to decide: is it worth to have a 50k instead a 10k per week just to have better chance once in a season and win ONE more game...

...or will i go with an 10k and invest salary into offense players just to make sure i get the best possible 18 weeks long...

I go with the offense....

I ve said time and again that the kicking/punting skill determines the distance (At 8 your kicker should get you 3 from 30yards consistently)
but then again i m not everyone

my old kicker did that so i fired him
