Can somebody please tell me how you set up your defense against an opponent who passes all the time (over 90%).

I tried putting 2 cornerbacks on each wr this week and still gave up 380yards against the throw.

Any ideas?

2 double cornerbacks will not help you IMO. Pass tacklers are CB, LB and SF, you need to put in as many of them as you can.

How about
DE NT DE
OLB MLB OLB
CB FS SS FS CB

also called 3-3-5

Bear in mind, Allianza is a fantastic passing team (NA beware), you did well to hold him to just 24

Imho, in this game, putting more pressure on the QB seems to work better than adding more defensive backs.

You've played a lot of human teams this season - go back over the games and see which DEs and OLBs have got to the QB - that means pressures as well as sacks.

and how about successful 3-1-7 ? :>

I'm deadly serious:

http://grid-iron.org/index.php?page=match&match_id=187008&action=stats

DT NT DT MLB + 3 SS is great against run
2 CB + 3 SS + 2 FS prevents from giving up big plays on pass

With team that plays all pass, you can go DE NT DE to create some pressure

I guess the best way to play against pass is DE NT DE, 2x CB, 2xFS and you got 4 positions left. My opinion is two SS and two OLB. Then you can stop even Badgers, I hope

3-1-7 That's... Interesting. I guess it works, so if I had the roster I might do that. And at least you only have 8 in the backfield. Some people choose 9.

please tell us how the result. I would try it in my next friendly game, but I don't have 7 defensive backs unfortunately.
