may be useful as it lists what is believed to be the important stats,

I look for someone who is strong, speedy, and intelligent, good level of talent is nice as well, the other skills i can train up in the future...

it really comes down to whether you want a good TE now... or in a couple of seasons... if you want one now, have a look at the above list and use it as your template when looking for one.
