He was a FB back then too

True, but that was back in the days when FB's were a huge part of the offense. Put him in now, he'd be a short yardage back and a blocker, unless someone decided to use the FB as the main runner.

Just another example of how football has evolved over history and how some players got lucky with when they played. Barry Sanders probably would have been a DB in the old days, instead he's one of the greatest RB's ever. Jim Brown would barely carry the ball now, once again he's one of the best of all time.

That's ummmmm, uhhhh, well I guess people in Europe who don't pay much attention to football might see his good game and say that. Try Joe Montana or Otto Graham or something like that. Dan Marino maybe? Bob Griese went undefeated. And plenty of players in the league currently would be much better. Including Tom Brady who should be playing if it wasn't for an injury. Also, the Patriots recieving crew could make Dan Orlovsky look good.

Bob? seriously? you get any QB of all time and you take bob griese? I mean if you want to go old school Johnny Unitas all the way. Maybe Bart Starr. Griese was good but not great really by any stretch. I don't even think he's top 10 of the retired QB's.

1. Montana
2. Elway
3. Unitas
4. Marino
5. Starr
6. Bradshaw
7. Otto Graham
8. Steve Young
9. Jim Kelly
10. Dan Fouts (Maybe Aikman but giving cowboys credit gives me hives)
