I still think everyone is overlooking the greatest pass catching TE of this generation.

Tony Gonzalez. If he played anywhere but Kansas City or if he wasn't so nice, he'd be on everyone's list.

Completely agree

the only reason I took Sharpe over Gonzales is blocking. Gonzales is a better reciever, Sharpe laid people out when run blocking

Agree with that. Sharpe is a great pick as well.

I often wonder whether or not Jim Brown was a product of his time or not, much like George Mikan. I don't dispute that he was absolutely awesome, but I wonder if he was just a statistical physical anomaly that resulted in some hellatious yardage.

Niners...I just take a look at things like statistics and make my evaluations accordingly.

Things like Browns numbers state things. That he was a physical specimen. George Mikan enjoyed the same status. he was a 7 footer in a league of 6 8 centers.

Never looked at it that way, but now that I think about it I agree. In fact, with Brown's running style and size, I'm not so sure he'd be a feature back in this age of small, shifty backs. He may have been a fullback.

And that's taking nothing away from him. He played when he played and he can't change that. And if you were building a team around a power back, there's not many better choices than him.
