If he ends up in Minnesota, I'm giving them the edge in the North. If he doesn't, then I think Chicago takes it. Both have great defenses, and if both can get QB play I think the Vikings have the better offense.

Whatever happens I just hope we don't have to keep hearing about it every minute of every day.

...and I hope the Favre story ends after that year, like it should 1 year ago.

i like the guy never had any hate for him even when i was living near Chicago and dont see any problem with him wanting to still play but less circus and more contract talk

but i blame espn/media for the circus

Me too. If Favre wants to play, go ahead and let him. I had a problem with him last year just expecting the Packers to change their plans at the last minute and give him the starting job(he probably would have won a competition anyway, but he needed to compete for it). But this year he's stayed quiet until the last couple of days. It's been the media, and they need to shut up about it.

If he wants to play til he's 50, that's his choice. He's been a great player and he deserves to go out when he wants to. Although it is getting hard to trust him when he says he's retired.

Well i blame the media the past 2 years as they keep reporting the same stuff over and over again WHO THE $%^#@ CARES if hes picking his nose or if someone called someone lol they need a new ESPN Rule for Bret no Bret news inless its from Bret or His Agent less circus more real news

But im with you on letting the guy play till his 50 as hes in a unique spot as most guys have to retire cause no one wants them teams still want him and he still wants to play so hell with his "Legend" status its his life

Oh, pls don misunderstand this. I am a Favre fanatic! But I think going away from GB was the worst move he ever made.

Hopefully he will retire before being 50! As stated before: I like see him playing, but I also would like that I remember his active time on the field as it was when he played in GB, not as an old man somewhere...

Not sure if this english is correct, but you will understand what I mean.

Enough about Favre already, he needs to retire before he does some SERIOUS damage to his bicep.
