Favre may very well be a Viking next season

He decided to retire because he didn't want to go through the heat of training camp. Training camp is a lot of work for an old player like Favre.

And he has to memorize a playbook all over

Favre a Viking......

And here, I thought he was sincere when he said he was done (retired for the 5th time)

All I know is their is no way he will win a superbowl. He would have to last 18 games. That is really hard to do for a 40 year old QB.

I think I'm rather excited, lol. In my main fantasy football league, Peterson is one of my keepers, and this will surely help him face less 8 man fronts.

QFT, Favre mentioned that in the press conference

That's not true. Favre was very, very cautious over the past few months to make sure his arm was okay. And if he does get hurt, the Vikings went 10-6 last year w/ frerotte and t-jack, so there's a chance sage could maybe win a playoff game or two

Hell, if I was the Vikings, I'd get rid of the QB position altogether and just setup a direct snap to Peterson or Taylor every play with an FB out front and two TEs on the edges.

I wonder how you'll feel when Favre keeps throwing the ball to the other team, I think that will have some impact on Adrian's numbers maybe even his TD's.

Sorry but I'm a Bears fan so I have to throw a dig when I can to good old number 4
