I believe Manning will be among the best this year. He has Reggie Wayne, Dallas Clark, Anthony Gonzalez, plus any halfback they run out of the backfield will become an instant target for Manning as well. He had 28 td's and 4000 yards last season. That is among the cream of the crop in the NFL and i think he will at least match if not surpass those numbers this year, even if it's just a couple more td's and few hundred more yards.

Yeah Wayne will be the medium/deep threat, Gonzalez will take the shorter/medium passes and Clark will be his usual across the middle " i am going to steal a touchdown from Reggie Wayne" self.

Worse than he did with the Broncos is my prediction. He has a defense now, so they won't be passing as much because they won't be losing as often, plus with the wind and the late season cold in Chicago(I know it's cold in Denver, but it's just not the same) he'll struggle to adjust.

i agree.. after all Chicago is "the windy city"
i'm still kinda bummed he plays for denver now.. there was a pretty good competition between SD and Denver..besides the trash talk.. i am not a fan of that...but i liked the healthy competition. it was good for the fans, and good for the game of football i also don't really see Cutler fitting in with the Broncos offense all that well. He could have done better with the broncos.. even though Chicago has a wayyyy better team.

I think Cutler will do fine! He won't be expected to carry the team with Matt Forte running the ball. He won't make as many mistakes and with the return teams for the Bears getting an advantage with the revised blocking rules, they will be a good team. I really don't know what people have against Cutler. I would have been angry if the new coach tried to trade me behind my back then be like oops, sorry didn't mean to do that. Come on. I know its a business but Cutler will do better than Orton or anyone else the Broncos throw out there this year. Cutler won't be top five or anything but there is no reason why he could not be top ten all-around this year.

The Bears just need a game manager and Cutler can do that. Less pressure on him=more success on the field.

One problem. The new rumor is that he actually ASKED to be traded, then got upset when they tried to honor his request. Besides, more players than anyone know of come close to being traded. Usually these players find out. Very few react the same way he did.

I think he's a fine QB and will be what the Bears need. But he handled that situation all wrong, and isn't nearly what people thought he was in Denver. He's a good QB who played on a team who was forced to pass most of the time because of a bad defense.

That's why he will do good. He won't be forced to pass so much. He completed 62% of passes. He will do great!
