Norv Turner is one of those coaches that is a great assistant, but average to slightly below average as a head coach. He was the mastermind behind the great Cowboy offenses of the early 90s. True, those offenses had more talent than any we've seen in a while. But Turner took them to the next level.

The best? Drew Brees naturally!!

WTF are you lol

What about the rookie Flacco

to be serious i cant could tom in there YET i need to see him play but for the time there in the league Payton and Tom are going to continue to be the top guys

BUT when healthy and when Reid/Marty isnt havong a brain fart Mcnabb is a top Tier QB

i know people are going to toos Kurt's name out there but you get any good QB them 2 Vet WR and a upcoming good WR and they will make anyone look better than they are but i glad the Chi..St...Ph..wait Arizona made it to the super bowl even if it took them for ever an a few centurys to do it

Brees is #2 IMO. Peyton Manning is #1, but Brees is better than Brady. Remember what Brees did last season with virtual nobodies at WR and an injured Colston? Brady is overrated, he didn't start putting up good numbers until Moss and Welker came to town... Remember the outstanding seasons Culpepper was putting up with Moss? Yeah...Brady is overrated.

best two QBs hands down are p.manning and tom brady. yes they're starting to go off the boil, but still have their noses in front.

manning is the more gifted passer and has prob a better understanding/reading of Def.
Brady is the better game manager.

next in line i thing is brees. very good but i think flatters to deceive. he puts up great numbers, but is prob throwing 100+ more passes than any other QB. i'd like to see him read the game a bit better and read the Def. more at the line, he has a lot of broken plays.

the young guys are getting better but i don't think any of them quite in this league as yet.

Rivers is good but needs to grow up.

Big Ben needs to learn better game management and let plays go when they start to break up. his o-line is weak, but he shouldn't be getting sacked nearly as much as he does.

Matt Ryan i think is the best of the young crowd coming through. seems to have a very level/calm head. couple more years to really learn the game i think he'll be HoF cert.

Rogers - has a lot of potential, possibly tries to be a bit too like favre without the same talent level.

manning jnr. talented, but once he starts getting beaten up he'll make some bad decisions.

Matt Ryan was getting found out at the end of last season. He's hyped up a bit too much. The Falcons did well to get Gonzo, he will really help Ryan out. Ryan is a good QB, but let's remember the impact that Michael Turner made on that offense (and therefore on Ryan's play).

Romo is a good QB, he reminds me a lot of Favre actually and is just as dangerous. Unfortunately he lost TO and that is really going to hurt his play.

Rivers is a very good QB and can get the job done.

Big Ben is very good too, he would be even better with a better OLine.

Aaron Rodgers probably has better talent than Favre actually. According to Greg Jennings, Rodgers' arm is stronger than Favre's. Rodgers also is less prone to throw INTs. He's a probable HOF inductee if he can keep improving. It's really no wonder why Steve Young said that Rodgers is likely going to have a career passer rating of 100.

I've got to completely disagree there, as much as it pains me to say it. I can't bring myself to come close to rooting for a former Michigan QB, but Brady had some great years with no names at WR.

2002- 3764 yards, 28 TD's
2003- 3620 yards, 23 TD's
2004- 3692 yards, 28 TD's
2005- 4110 yards, 26 TD's
2006- 3529 yards, 24 TD's

Those are GREAT years for any QB, especially with the WR's he had to work with. Yes, he got better with Moss and Welker. Anyone would. But he went from great to out of this world at that point.

I'm fine with not putting him at number 2 for now because of injury concerns. But I just personally can't call him overrated.

Remember that was during the time the Patriots were "cheating" ... so it is difficult to say how legit those numbers are, but that is a completely different discussion Personally I think that Brady is great QB, but, in my eyes, his legacy will always be tainted by Bill Belicheats actions.

That's another interesting and potentially good point. I personally think the cheating was something that, while maybe not league wide, was not confined to just one team. But since the Patriots were the only ones caught, we have no proof, and that does add another dimension to this.

I think to truly be able to tell how good Brady is/was, we would have needed to see him play another coach and another system.

I'd say peyton manning is the best QB in the league

Without him the colts would've gone down bigtime last season, he is the type of guy who can do it all without having a sensational team

Of course other QB's like McNabb, Brady, Big Ben, Brees, Warner(etc..)are realy good, but I think that PM is always one step ahead of them when the subject is who has better QB skills

Buttt.... we all know an offense has 11 players, so sometimes having a great QB isn't enough ( if you're a bengals fan, you know what I mean hehehe )

Video taping other teams is actually allowed. They just put one in an illegal position. No big deal really.

I understand his past and know he is a very good QB. It's just that some fans are now preaching that he's one of the best ever which is a bit overrated for my taste. I believe if you put Moss and Welker on a team with Brees or Manning and you're likely going to surpass Brady's performances.

We really don't know what happened because Rodger Goodell destroyed the tapes. You have to ask if there was nothing left to hide, why have them destroyed?
