Hmm. I usually don't come into this forum but I will now because I have some issues.

I'm not really sure, but what do you guys suggest is the best way to improve your teams pass defense? That's my teams biggest issue right now and I really want to work on it. Should I buy a new safety, or would a new corner back be better?

Hope you guys no more than I do.

Zster, nice to see you again.

I assume you are writing this due to your defeat this evening? Tough loss my friend, apologies to see that.

I also have had - and still do have - this problem. I have played atleast two free safeties recently, but I think a lot (Not all) of it is down to Wide Receiver Speed > Cornerback Speed.

Just my two cents.

Nice to see you again too.

Ya, after my loss I finally decided I should try to do something about it.

What you say makes a lot of sense. I'll see if I can find some speedy players and put them at corner back and see how that goes.

Of course, if you already have high speed Corners, my theory is wrong...

I am sure there will be many that disagree with my view, but please remember I said a lot of the problem is due to speed, not all!

I would recommend the tactical skills, agility and tackling also. Not so much tackiling but on the odd occurrence, Corners seem to miss tackles...

Also, if you are conceeding late in the 2nd and 4th, consider your Stamina levels.

All the best to you.

And after I had written that, I realised that you have given up all of your points in the 2nd and the 4th. What are your Stamina levels?

Send me a PM if you are not happy about posting them up here.

I'm not sure but one of my corners has 15 speed and the other 10. 15 is pretty fast, but there tackling and agility are not that great. I'm trying to find players with the whole package and see if it helps.

Now that I look a lot of my players have a stamina level of 2 or 1. I do have a guy with 4 but that was only a quick look. Should I train my guys in stamina?

Ok I have a couple of players at six, but my teams average is probably 3 or 2.Last edited on 2009-03-11 at 0:18

1 or 2 is ridiculous!

I am a Stamina freak, so perhaps I am a little bias but you would want atleast 5 in my opinion..

I have guys with 10 stamina and sure I have lost a few games of late, I am still winning a lot of matches.

But remember, make use of your Coaches. I train fitness because I have a 20 Fitness coach and a fully upgraded fitness centre...If you have coaches that are great in other areas and not fitness, use this season to utilise that and concentrate on fitness next season.

Hope this is of some help.

All my coaches are at 20.

I guess I'll train all my guys at level 4 or under until they get up near 5. Hopefully it helps.

Well, in that case, experiment. Train stamina until the end of the season and see what happens

Good luck dude.
