Regardless of what happens this month I believe there has been a significant step forward for the organization. They were able to discover an offensive identity, they were able to win games with a group of defenders that are not particularly good. Tannehill has finally shown signs of the progression that earned him his contract. Ajayi burst onto the scene as a premier running back. They found a free agent gem in Andre branch. They have come out as the clear winners of the trade with Philadelphia and should be working on a contract extension for kiko Alonso. There are so many positives that have come from this season that I am very excited to see what comes of them in the near future, they have a reasonably young core of players and are being properly assembled to hopefully become a contender moving forward.

I couldn't disagree more. 2-2 puts them a game over .500, 1 game higher than I expected at the beginning of the season. Their defense looked better and they showed some signs of offensive weaponry. I'm still not impressed with Tannehill, other than his ability to take a good hit and his stellar play when the cape is on. He has to go. Ajayi did burst onto the scene with back to back 200 yard games, but the last two weeks he's averaged about 55 yards per game. Some of that is on the o-line, but the last game Tunsil and Albert both played the whole game last week. Hey Tunsil, stop holding, geez! I do agree the team is headed in a better direction, but would be very elated if they found a franchise QB instead of going the 'Cutler' route like the Bears. I would love to see them grab Tabor out of Florida, he will likely come out this year even though he's a junior. Parker is a gem, needs to be used more. I'd prefer that they move Landry and see what they can get for him while he has some stock, maybe for Adams or Robinson. Tannehill has 4 games to change my mind, but 2-2 or less and I'm done with him forever, I've just seen it before and that's just about the best it will get

I'm surprised how bad Ajayi did against the 49ers 2 weeks ago. Last week against the Ravens, fair enough a RB doesn't do well, but the 9ers?! Worst run D in the league and he goes 18 for 45. Strange really!

And Tunsil, I think he was just a bit slow for the NFL speed coming off an injury (not helped by playing a tough line). The same thing happened to Ronney Stanley when he came back from injury; sure Tunsil will get over it if what I've heard from Kag earlier in the thread is on point.

I loved the fight from the team. I would have loved it even if the defense didnt let them to come back in the fourth after shutting them down for three quarters but they were still able to manage a 3&out in the most crucial moment.

I laughed my ass off at Omar Kelly praising Moore's wounded duck. Stills really bailed him on that one and made a heck of a play.

I for Tannehill. Was having a great game in heavy rain and then that hit killed his season. It was worth a penalty btw. Too bad his best season as a pro ended this way. I'm not as high on Moore as some other Dolphins fans but he is a respectable veteran, we'll see after 5 years on the bench if he has something left.

That pass was hilarious. It was like handling soap, nobody could take hold of that ball.

I never wish for someone to get hurt, but this may be the best thing for the Dolphins moving forward. I disagree that they were winning because of Tannehill, they were winning and are winning, despite Tannehill. Yes, his superman cape does work from time to time, but I'm tired of that. Their offensive line needs to stop making dumb mistakes and their defense is the brightest spot of the team this season. I'm not sold on the back up by any stretch, but now the hand is being forced and if anything, his arm could prove to be interesting with all the speed they have. Would still like to see them move Landry and they need to find a TE that can block and catch and maybe avoid concussions if that is possible. They have about a 15% chance of making the playoffs, so it's win out and see or start planning for next season

You can follow the Bears then.
