Oooooo logic praise the lawd!

It's like trying to have a conversation with your 98-year old grandma; only half of what's said goes in and then you get a barely intelligible response to what was said 3 sentences ago... There's MULTIPLE posts agreeing that Suh's not the only problem (far from it) but the simple, inarguable fact is when you pay for a marquee player you expect marquee performances, regardless of whether everyone else around you is playing garbage too.

Most definitely, without question, Suh headlines this defense that was billed to be shut down and all it's done so far is shut down their hopes of winning. Additionally, we have another QB that will never amount to anything more than a sub-par performer. Tannehill is a joke, but hey, he got his new contract for 19M, so what does he care. The list of NFL players that outperform their talent when their contract is due to be renewed and then return to their shameful lack of preparation following is ridiculous. It will take some good management to pull some game play out of this bunch

Nobody said it was solely Suh's fault though, just that he's much more of a waste of money than the rest due to his excessive over payment...

Ndamukong Suh - Total: $114,375,000, Average: $19,062,500, Guaranteed: $59,955,000
Cameron Wake - Total: $33,200,000, Average: $6,640,000, Guaranteed: $17,000,000
Dion Jordan - Total: $20,572,309, Average: $5,143,077, Guaranteed: $15,501,680
Olivier Vernon - Total: $2,848,080, Average: $712,020, Guaranteed: $638,080

Dunno about you but I'm pretty sure something is wrong there! Only person with a sack, rookie Jordan Phillips, isn't even considered in these talks. Hell, Cameron Wake has 0 tackles and 1 assist in 4 games so it obviously isn't just Suh not performing (he actually has the most tackles out of the whole DL, possibly even more than the rest of the DL combined, but that salary... )

Take the names away and you could basically be talking about the Florida Lottery jackpots on any random week! In sports, often it is said that when you think you've arrived, you've actually just stopped working at it. Seems there are a bunch of overpaid guys in Miami that all decided they've arrived at the same time

Suh averages just over 7 sacks a season. While I think the Dolphins are a dumpster fire, I don't think Suh's lack of sacks through four games is necessarily indicative of anything.

Suh isn't a player you'd expect to get a ton of sacks, agreed (which incidentally is why nobody's mentioned his sack count anywhere in their critiques...). He's a big body run stuffer and the Dolphins are 32nd in run D, allowing over 160 yards per game on average, with Suh racking up a whopping 9 tackles over 4 games.

Again, nobody is saying just Suh is to blame, merely that he's a contributing factor, who just happens to be getting paid a boatload of money to be better than he has been so far.

What don't we know girlfriend? Please inform us as to why Suh has made zero sacks in four games. And please inform us of what his guaranteed money is if it isn't $60M.

The defensive line has made it pretty clear the coyles system is useless

Informative, and non-committal, as ever. The Dolphins have been dire and Suh hasn't lived up to his billing. Take your homer glasses off and try and have some perspective.

once more, watch the game tape, figure it out, notice suh is not the problem. quit trying to act like you know what youre talking about you once more sound foolish.

At what point does any of the above posts point to Suh being the sole problem in Miami?

The direction of the questions was about what they are paying Suh for. Yes the whole defense is struggling at the moment. So is the offense, Tannefail doesn't like practice squad players to keep picking him off while in practices. But that is another story for another time. I don't really care for the other 21 players, which is why they weren't mentioned or questioned about. Was questioning Suh's $60M guaranteed worth. But my mistake, it was $59.xM guaranteed.

So if I don't know what I'm talking about? Why did I say Philbin needed to go 12-24 months ago, and why have Lolphins management now given him his marching orders? I have always been critcial of Philbin:- http://www.grid-iron.org/community/viewt/19453/0 Or any of the Pats threads Flames has commented in.

I also said they needed to reboot the WR corps. But got told I was wrong back then and Wallace would say last season. Where is Wallace now? I missed him on the field for Miami recently? What did they do with the receiver corps this last offseason gone? haha

Do you see a trend here? From someone that doesn't watch game tapes. And doesn't know what they're talking about. The Lolphins seem to be doing the same as I'm typing. They are just taking too long to do it. haha

They have now done what I said they needed to do months/years ago. They will improve now. But at 1-3, they have probably wasted another season. Division is too tough now to expect to turn that around.
