To take a premier QB prospect you usually have to be in the top 3.

There are plenty of examples of premier QB's taken outside the top 3, even the top rounds, but Miami is a bit strange in the draft strategy/needs, so you're right...........they would need to have a very top pick.

I'd like to see them go for Chad Kelly, more than the others mentioned. Reading progressions effectively and have the arm strength to counter the NFL speed are what he can bring......Watson would also be an interesting pick, just not sure he would fit in with the other pieces, plus I see consistency issues, which will only get worse at the next level

He may slip to the 2nd round, but could be the steal of the draft at that point. Generally will depend on how his team finishes off the season. He will be as NFL ready as any of them
