The 22yarder by Henry is probably the longest NFL run ever completely in a straight line. Usually in 22 yard people at least try to get in the way, but not the phins.

You can see how the defense is doomed from the start, against a 2x2 10 personel set with the powerback and a dual threat QB they line up with 4 DL and one LB on an island, 5 in the box versus 5 blockers, and 2 deep safeties. Why exactly 2 deep safeties since they are running over us? Cause we are the phins and our defense is built to play with a lead (and squander it, I suppose).

We dont have a two gap DL, we cant cover all the gaps and thank god Mariota hands it off and they dont play the midline in the NFL or we allow 40 not 20.

Elliot had a nice straight line run for about 65 yards in the Cowboys game, it does happen, especially when you have decent blocking on the line

Ok, it happens something similar, but ellliott there has to cut to avoid a lineman in the backfield

Although Tannehill will be worth $20M in salary or $10M in dead money in 2017. Interesting...

Mario Williams $10.5M vs $2.0M
Cameron Wake $7.0M vs $3.0M
Brandon Albert $10.6M vs $3.4M

If they can trade Thill dead money goes down to 7 millions.

Before the season I thought if he doesnt improve they trade or cut him and that's it, now I can see a different path.

They draft a QB, if they find a trading partner better if not they keep Tannehill with his salary for one more season and they "compete" for the job. Next season they have a lot less dead money and they can cut him.

Brandon Albert is going to be cut, the writing is on the wall since draft day when Tunsil fell to us.

Williams is going to be cut unless he takes a paycut, and that's a possibility.

Wake is staying with us unless he wants out.

Good info regards players not named Tannehill. Thanks.

Regards Tannehill. If he continues to give up 2 giveaways a game. They ain't paying him $20M next season. Especially if they can save $10M.

Your point is valid, but nobody likes 10 millions of dead money. If they cant find a trading partner, which I wouldnt rule out, it's still tough to swallow those millions.

One month ago I agreed 100% with your point, now I'm not so sure. Well, obviously if he ends season with 24 interception it makes sense to cut him

As much as I give the Lolphins a hard time about not picking a RB in the second round. At least they didn't pick a kicker in the second round that misses so many kicks.

As long as the Dolphins don't step on their dick by winning too many games to be in the hunt for him.
