The last INT ins't really a problem. A hail mary always has a chance of an INT.

I loved his big run on the final drive where he drop the shoulder and put a defender on his bum.

The Tannehill-Landry connection is really work well. Not much else though is working for the Dolphins. That defense really needs to show some heart/carefactor.

parker had 100 yards which wasnt that bad

Parker is a big plus, better than I expected. Just see if Tannehill can get on target for a complete game and then try to expand before I will see he has hope (reference the last 4 seasons). As far as I'm concerned it's 2 crap quarters and 2 out-of-this-world quarters (minus the last 2 throws).

Defense was a horror show in the first half. And that was against a Pats side missing Brady and Gronk.

Say what you want about Tannehill, but that loss was on the defense.

Did you even watch the 1st half? Yes, the defense was picked apart, but tannehill had a half dozen overthrows, not just a few feet either. On several throws, the announcers had no idea who he was even throwing to. The entire first half was a horror show on both sides of the ball

That's the thing I like more about him, he is tough and a freak athlete.

So do I. And it is the first season I have seen him actually use his athleticism. I guess the previous coaches just wanted him to be a pocket passer and restricted his ability somewhat. Hopefully if he keeps this up, I wont have to call him Tannefail much longer. haha

You are more positive than I am. I simply request a full game, along with a win, to garner any type of hope. Consistency, even within a game, has been his problem. He can look terrible, then great and he did look pretty great in the 2nd half

I wouldn't call a 30 yard pass a hail mary, but my point was the last two passes were chock full of pressure, where he normally comes up a tad short, and he did again. The 2nd to last pass would have been intercepted, had it not been for a last second tip by his own receiver playing defense at that point. Toughness was a plus and I agree Landry came out with some fire. They need to let him spend a day with the defense

So funny, so far overthrown....'Tannehill, over the middle, to nobody'. Actual telecast during the second quarter

For someone who was complaining about one-sided stories in another thread, this is just BS!

If you actually watch the play in question and don't just take the wording of the commentator as "Tannehill was crap" you'll see the WR get run into by a DE dropping into coverage. If he wasn't in the way of the route it would've been on the mark.

Most of his incomplete passes are also just drops by the WR; quite a few in the first half were hitting the guys in both hands and they were either out and out dropping it or the defense were making plays and knocking the ball out. Hardly Tannehill's fault

I disagree and that's okay.

High School.
- Was a defensive back.
- Eventually became a QB

College.
- Lost the competition to be the starting QB three times.
- Spent time of three seasons as a WR.
- One year of starting QB work, granted a decent year.

So when you're talking about why Tannehill has issues, his history is the best predictor of the future. Why we're debating overthrows and whose fault it is is beyond me.

Guy is not a quarterback. He simply plays one on TV.

as gatr has said uncountable times, he's an ok quarterback, even at NFL level, just not a great one. that much i agree on, but just slandering him because it suits your endless "overthrow" drivel (and by "your", i mean gatr here, not you) i'll call you on it
