I would have loved to have seen the score if the Dolphins kept their foot on the gas. 26 junk points is still too much.

Even Dan wasn't happen about it. I like Dan. His post game interviews are awesome. He doesn't speak well. But he get the message across. He is more human than most coaches we are used to. Reminds me of Jim Harbaugh. Dan actually make me like the Dolphins. Yuk!

He's a players coach, time will tell how he does overall, but a players coach will generally get an improvement if talent is there hidden below other issues. Let's see how they do next week.........the last two wins are suspect at best, but wins are wins and they needed some to avoid total implosion

Dan is doing a great job so far you should look at the stuff the players are saying about him it seems like they love having him

Then a real team came into town to play the mighty lolphins...............OOPS

Much like when a real team went to play Florida for the national title in 1996

If you have to go back 20 years to smack talk my team, I'm really fine with it. Actually, UF won the National title in 1996.............I think he means 95, when Nebraska smacked us around pretty good. We have 3 National titles since then, but I really only get excited about the current season. The rest is history, as they say

That was not smack talking. If I were smack talking I could have pointed to a random Muschamp season or anything before Spurrier.

The game I was referring to was in January 1996, Fiesta Bowl, 62-24 but could have been worse, and I just meant that when you play the absolute best in the sport you might get blown out even if you are a good team. That's what happened thursday to the Dolphins.

Yes, it was dull smack talk at best, but still 20 years ago, so............... It was played in January of 1996, but that was the 95 national championship, as the Gators won it in 1996

I'm not a Dolphins fan, but I don't despise them either. They are just not that good and their QB will never be a great NFL player. He just doesn't have enough upside to invest in, but then there are at least 20 other NFL QB's that I would say the same about

You did say "play", but you also said "for the national title in 1996". It was played in 1996, but for the '95 national title. I was just clearing it up

Now we have a good understanding and we can watch paint dry
