Not sure. It has never happened before. The theory is that they go onto the TM the same as if they were fired. But they do have to be in the third level of oceania divisions, so it won't happen for a while.

edit// Sorry I thought you were referring to NT player. Cody (and all the Wolverine's players) will just dissappear when a new team take over the Wolverines. The players are deleted, then team name is delete, new players are generated and new owner select name.

No, the players all go ono the transfer market as free agents first, then IF NO ONE BUYS THEM they are deleted.

Incorrect - wouldn't there be more Australian players on the TM, almost one team per day is taken over currently in Oceania, for your theory to be correct?

The real answer is...


They're all 'fired' much like if you did it yourself on your own team. As you know, each fired player has a small chance of choosing to independently list himself up for transfer (aka Free Agent). The rest of the fired players retire and disappear.

So as for Cody, there's a small chance he goes Free Agent when the Wolverines get turned over (which is a while away). However, if you want it to be guaranteed, list him as an NT player as soon as the Wolverines get to Division 3 and just wait until the team gets taken over. I'm pretty sure you can still NT list bot players - Kayne Firrito was a suggestion of mine a few seasons ago and was almost certainly already on a bot team before NT selection.

NT players from bot is all okay. Wolverines are supplying a few NT players currently.

I never really thought of it, but it is a good way of getting those players on bot teams into human teams. Currently got a really good DE and TE from Wolverines, but they ain't gonna get any better until they are on a human team. As they ain't training on the bot team.

Next years coach will have to watch Wolverines position on the standings and see whom they can include if Wolverine ever look like going down into the third level.

p.s. Glandore Rebels would be another team to flick through for good young aussie talent.

Oh dang. Was hoping for a win as a buffer in the standings. Instead just couldn't stop Kamikaze offense. Only one punt all game by Kamikaze.

Tiger Bay vs Melbourne was interesting. Only one play in overtime and it was over quickly.
