We all spoke about this last season. But we always have one game per seaon that gets away from you for no reason. Chalk it up as one of those.Last edited on 2012-10-15 at 12:10

I'm not sure how my general commentary was contradictory at all. You're welcome to look at the stats and history. People DO get fewer passing attempts against him than their usual totals. Competitive games he plays DO have lower overall points scored. He does NOT score very high, very often. The only thing I would change would be the small part where people "never" go run defence to "generally don't", which is merely more encompassing language.

Do us a favour and read it carefully before thinking this was all about you or some kind of personal attack. The only time I mentioned you was a couple of lines at the very beginning citing stats that would mean a bad day for any QB - be it luck, a good defence, different offence (you're still darkwinging to the same TE, but with different sides/formations) or a combination. The rest was on JK's tactics over the last few seasons.

But since you did bring this up, please tell me how you did this:

I checked his percentages and he ran and passed opposite to my orders. Just coincidence.

I didn't even look at scripts.

Because if you manually went and counted, then I'm both impressed and jealous of the free time.

On a sidenote, in case anyone was wondering, Edwardstown, Glandore, and Plympton are all suburbs/areas in South Adelaide. Another coincidence besides the gameplan and last login date among other things.

A) So wait, you randomly set your defence to run or pass and checked percentages after the game? Where's the tactical nous in that? Any quick scan before the game will show you he runs a lot less on 3rd down, and relatively often 1st and 2nd. What makes it worse is he's running on default formation, so it's the same gameplan repeated.

I don't care about when or where you use scripts, I only dropped the reference after your apparent desperation in the main forum when you realised you may not have had them anymore.

B)Bit rich to think of yourself so highly. Like I said already, the general analysis about JK's plan had nothing to do with anything you specifically said. Unless your entire gameplan is playing 5* BPOS players and hoping, it's sometimes handy to form your own opinion on what works and doesn't work for other people like I did in this case.

I don't need to go searching for facts or stats just for you, because I already have them. If sharing general observations is considered going on a pointless hunt, then your loss. They're only observations from being around since Season 2 and which coaches like Faulcon have used (in formation and gameplan) occasionally.

C) Show me where I was contradicting myself. Go on, second time lucky asking.

If you make some grandiose claim and then get called out, pulling the "just trolling" excuse makes only one person look silly.

But hey, if you think I'm riled up and are amused by it, then good for you. It's excellent procrastination and believe me, more than just us two find these exchanges funny.

D) You're probably doing well to avoid Adelaide. I don't live anywhere near there, but the more you know...

My Grandparents lived in Plympton so I knew that one was in Adelaide. Didn't know the other two were also.

Bit of a shame EDT will turn BOT tomorrow.

He is doing well.

But his Bottness will be a huge advantage to a couple of teams, maybe, a cup break advantge!

Everyone except SCB will benefit from the 2 teams going bot tommorrow, as SCB as played both teams before them going bot. And SKITG will benefit the most, both in 2 extra vs bots games and excaping the relegation prospect.

And having 3 top 16 teams missing from the cup will make everyones cup runs a little easier.

On a side note game related - I had a 48 yard kick return today. Offence started 45 yards out. Makes the offenses job easier.

I would have liked to play EDT and Plympton. Oh well.

On a side note, the running game actually sort of worked today against the Skinks. Pulled off an 83 yard drive where 63 of those yards including the scoring run were from four positive rushes. Made the score 21-14 too, so that was a surprise. Only had it dialed up on first down so we didn't get to see it much else (only three TFLs in 15 attempts at 5.3ypc aint bad I guess). More than double the pressures and the same number of sacks as the Skink defence too, though I did attempt 4 fewer passes. Only losing by one more TD than Kamikaze is a result I'll take for my band of developing misfits.

Encouraging signs. Just need tackles to stick and more stamina. And of course, to actually play my full team!

Next thing to work on is your kick return game.

My 4 kickoff returns today. Really helps shorten the field and makes the apparently close yardage figures very deceptive...

Kazimierz Murat performs the kickoff. He kicks the ball for 62 yards. John Veszpremi returns for 30 yards and is tackled by Sebastian Trahan. The offense will start on 62 yards from the end zone.

Kazimierz Murat performs the kickoff. He kicks the ball for 63 yards. John Veszpremi returns for 48 yards and is tackled by Laurence Maiden. The offense will start on 45 yards from the end zone.

Kazimierz Murat performs the kickoff. He kicks the ball for 62 yards. John Veszpremi returns for 38 yards and is tackled by Leo Scobie. The offense will start on 54 yards from the end zone.

Kazimierz Murat performs the kickoff. He kicks the ball for 65 yards. Claude Giansiracusa returns for 27 yards and is tackled by Riley Hill. The offense will start on 68 yards from the end zone.

Certainly compared to 66/25/71, 66/12/84, 63/29/64, 65/9/86, 65/13/82, 65/14/80, and 68/6/92.

Yeah, I hope that'll improve as skill levels improve. Physicals of the guys who made those tackles are 20/15, 17/18, 20/15, and 16/19 so I don't think that's it. It's all a bit of mystery to me.
