Mitch Watt pass to Josh Craven for 1 yards for a TOUCHDOWN! Missed tackle - Gavin Dyas and Nicholas Bate.

Two tackles broken for a 1 yard touchdown? Screen pass that very nearly went badly wrong?

Terrible snap from centre, Mitch picks it up on the 20. Then side steps both defensive ends. Pass to Josh on the 10, where he slips one tackler and hurdles over the second tackler for the touchdown.

Injury to an OLB meant a switch to 4-3. Wrong OL caught the team bus, and left behind 2/3 of their best meaning a very poor day in the office for the QB (who co-incidentally has played his last game for the team)... Then the makeshift defence coughed up two TDs in the last quarter despite keeping them down to only one for the whole three quarters before that (stamina probably).

Doh.

I need to pay more attention. Forgetting to include the two best OL players on the team is a stupid error, but probably not as stupid as forgetting to put in the starting QB like I did against eventual Cup finalists the Huskies, or nearly losing to bots like I did last season...

My QB had a very bad day!

Only 33% completion against Wolverines. Go figure??

Oh, well. Ill have to do a bit of study as to why i had only scored 1 TD..
Very disappointing..

Its not likely JK wont even know. Hes has been offline since the 30th Sept. Only one more week till he goes bot! He could have sold Cody on the market at least. For some reason he actually has done well with his mind boggling run tactics.

Anyone else notice that Plympton Predators has the same run first tactics and will go bot at the same time?

I thought I went through this with you already, but maybe not.

My guess for the third is Glandore Rebels.

Using your new but old scripts? I'd say it was mostly to do with the 3 sacks, 2 interceptions, and 6 pressures.

I think the secret to JK's game is three fold. One, people never set their defence to play against the run and he's very persistent with his strong OL. Thus he gets the occasional decent run which boosts his YPC to a reasonable average. Two, his gameplan almost always means his time in possession (which is roughly about 50%) is fairly consistent. Three, his defence is good.

The possession amount plus the type of game he plays means he scores much slower than most people, but at the same time means that there are fewer kickoffs with his opponents receiving. Fewer receiving drives against a good defence means fewer points, at the cost of not scoring too many himself. Note how in most of his games, it is hardly ever a shoot out. Keep track of how much teams usually attempt to throw and how many attempts they get off against JK. Gongs, Blue Jays, and Bucs have all averaged about 10 fewer attempts.

The other thing about passing shootouts where it's mostly score or nothing is that it is a bit of a piss-shoot. Check out Kamikaze vs the Bucs. Kamikaze had more time in possession in EVERY SINGLE QUARTER and still lost. They rightfully dominated the first quarter on the scoreboard, with more than double time in possession, but then got flogged by just as much despite having the ball 8:50 to 6:10 in the second quarter.

JK and his Wolverines keep it consistent, and he's the epitome of Mr Average as shown by his consistent mid-table form over the seasons with a few bright sparks here and there. Think Everton in the EPL.
