nope not really. i changed both my starting KRs this season. thought i'd have some major problems with low skill and BPOS KRs, but actually the opposite.

last seasons starters had 15-18 speed and 11-13 carrying/footwork/agility and 4.0-5.0 BPOS.

this seasons starters have 19-20 speed and 3-5 carrying/footwork/agility and 2.0-2.5 BPOS.

they only real change is the higher speed of the KRs. has allowed about a 5 yard average increase in PR/KR yardage per carry.

last game was pretty poor return wise to be honest. both returners averaged 10.83 yards per carry, (even with the 48 yarder in there). ones got an avg of 13.XX and the other 15.XX for this whole season (4 games, no bots).

last seasons starters were only getting 8.XX and 10.XX averages.

Got a 45 yard kick return this week.

Defense leaking like a rusty bucket. The only defenses doing worse are the bots.

Faulcon also got some monster kick returns against me last week. That plus stamina issues are where I need to improve.

Pretty happy how the season is going despite the losses. I think I've finally figured out a few things and have some pretty strong first half performances against some of the premier teams in this division. This is despite a pretty large skill gap in some areas (To give you an idea, I'm still training physicals on one starting offensive lineman...).

1st 2nd 3rd 4th
Swift Kick in the Grass 14 7 7 7
Sunshine Coast Buccaneers 21 7 7 21

So only on td behind for 3/4s of the game against a very strong team that's been here for a long time? Sure, I'll take it. Add into the equation I had a higher completion percentage with a similar amount of passes despite throwing two INTS and being pressured all day long (Bailey Burgoyne went beastmode, but no sacks).

Got the running game going also, 129 yards in 12 carries for 10.8 ypc with NO tackles for loss.

1st 2nd 3rd 4th
Slumbering Skink 7 7 14 14
Swift Kick in the Grass 0 7 7 7

Bit less of a shoot out here, but managed to pressure the QB a bit (which unfortunately we didn't really do against Sunshine Bucs). Also the first game where I started experimenting with my running game for 80 yards at 5.3 ypc. 22 yards total offense less, but coughed up field position due to kicks...

Only had 3 kick returns today for a best of 38. Defense surprised me though with 2 interceptions my way and Ivan Wall recording 4 sacks.

This is interesting. I never weighted a KR before. But always played a good player there none the less.

All the special teams players are a bit like that I think. Gotta weigh up wages versus productivity. Everyone has their own views and ideas.

Absolutely filthy. Lost in overtime after two interceptions in a row gave Kamikaze back the initiative. That's two games in a row with two interceptions. Argh.

Another 3 sacks and an interception, defence really stepping it up for a change.

Bad luck. I was hoping you get a win off them.
I know what you mean about being filthy though.
