All I see is a couple of coaches afraid of the challenge that comes with winning!

This guy is using intimidation but its not working. For a genuine effort at the title you need a large income and high skilled players. My players are 95% the same squad i got from the start. Very average players with no skill. There would be no benefit at all. I would have a very low attendance
and nobody would buy my jerseys (if i had a shop).
I will definitely stay in division 1, even if i have to play a bot offens/ deffence. But actually i will do worse than that. I will make sure all players are playing in their worst positions possible just to make sure the bot formation dosnt beat the other guys.

Your first season in the top level shouldn't be about beating the best. All you need to do is win 6 games and survive the season. If you come second in your current level. That is like fifth in top level.

For interest sake, the bottom team in tenth position (1-8 record) got 38,220 crowd sttendence in storms today. Still 12,000 seats / $240,000 higher than your maximum.

All depends on whether or not you wanna give top division a go or not, attempting to prove you are good enough or not. Or stay in the seconds levels and tank some games, not showing what you are really made of.

Not intimidation, disrespect. As in zero respect, none, nada, nil, zip. Never been a fan of tanking, if your team is good enough to make it to the next level then go ahead and try!

I have 26,500 seats and i got approx. 1.2mil for todays game. Because i am coming second and have lost one game. If i was in TD, i would lose every game because next season wont have bots in TD. SO if i lose every game my attendance is going to be very low even after 5 games. Like about half the 1.2 million mid way season. But in division 1 or lower where i can win games i can get a cool 1.2 million per week and keep doing so until i have 40 million in the bank to buy and afford top players.

Oh and BTW, if you havnt noticed smart ass, we have a lot of bot teams and shit teams and fuk all teams in Oceana, so it was an easy trip to the top. So it seems that i am lucky enough to have a shot at it very quickly but too quick. And BTW, my team is NOT good enough or remotely ready to play TD.And its my game and ill play it the way i like to play it. Thanks for the encouragement too.

i'd dissagree. Super Sleuths last season in TD, they didn't win a game. They had better home attendence numbers that your current 26,500.

1st 32,000
2nd 32,000 rain
3rd 32,000
4th 32,000 rain
cup 30,957
5th 32,000
cup 32,000
6th 30,174 storm
7th 26,180
8th 16,686
9th 11,830 storm

total for 9 home league games = 244870.

your 26,500 x 9 league games = 238,500.

their 32,000 was maximum capacity, if they had a bigger stadium, those first 5 games would've netted even higher attendence.

week 1 attendences in this seasons TD:-
57,813
63,407
52,325
40,000 (this one max capacity)
63,790

if you exclude the maxed out stadium, that is an average of around 58,000 in week one. 32K more than you current income.

yes if you are losing, you attendence starts to drop, but the income from the first couple of games outweights the loses.

but even if you were to win 1 or 2 games, you'd be lucky to go under your current 26,500.

that is my reasoning for saying go for it. it's your choice anyway.

Certainly wasn't an easy trip to the top for all of us. When I was in div II 3 out of 4 teams in the cup semi finals and the final winner were from the div I was in. Took two seasons to get promoted to div I without trying to lose at all. These days it's harder for you not to get to the top division than it is to get there.

Frankly I've never tanked any match in any game, I'd rather get smashed at the top level than beat up on bots for another year but as you say, each to their own.

PS: if you really want to lose make sure you tell your QB to only throw down one side and give him no targets on that side.
