i wanna sell him in 2 weeks with speed 17
but i dunno if i set him for 1k or some higher startprice

start prices at what you want but 10k or less makes people happy to chuck a bid on while hes cheap so they dont forget about him as hes in their bidlist, if your honest and you advertise properly it wont matter how low you start his price at

Unless you already have a better WR in the works, I'd keep both of them. You never know when you might need a backup due to injury. However, if you're set at the position and/or really need the money, hold onto them for just a few more weeks and see if the younger one caps at 19 speed. If he can go to 20, I'd keep him, otherwise keep the 20 speed player. Either way, sell your 'loser' to me. I can always find a spot for a young 4.5* talent 19+ speed player.

Do people consider speed to be key for wr?

With low capped strength is the assumption that talent is more important than physicals?

I ask because I have a 4.5 with 20 speed 10 strength and I'm wondering whether lower talent with more strength might be more effective. The guy in question never seems to make big plays despite his speed. He is still only 2.5 BPOS so maybe that is the problem but I don't want to spend weeks building bpos if his strength is insufficient.

For me the only reason that he never make big plays it's because of his BPOS nothing else .

His strenght is insufficient for this engine, cause strenght seems to be more important than speed.. But on the new engine it is likely to change (if you believe the admins).. So train him, his BPOS sucks right now, and every half a star equals at least 2 main skill points IMO, so he is lacking quite alot if you compare him to a fully developed player..
