I know it's still season one and all, but I inherited a pretty poor team and don't expect to make a drive at promotion this season. I am curious if there will be a Training Camp time between seasons to focus on just improving players and team chemistry?

It's an interesting suggestion and the implementation itself wouldn't be too difficult. The question is to what extent do you take the training camp? How much better would players train? How many days would a camp last? How much of an increase in player chemistry would it have? ... How much would it cost?

Anyway continue the discussion and we'll see to where we get

Concerning the length i would say compared to the length of the game that a 10 day training camp is reasonable, for its cost i would say 150.000$, for the effect let's say double the normal ratios.

Or rather than double the Ratios effect we could move the training to 1.5 times effectiveness and move a position up the ladder of positions by one place. I.e. a player who goes through training camp at x postion with no listing of it on his chart would get to put it in as a red position, reds would go to yellow, yellow to green. Or you would have 50 training points to assign per player per training camp period plus the regular training allowance that included teamwork etc. This bonus could be put towards any one stat(including intelligence) Training camp would occur over a two week off season meaning that a player could effectively raise one stat one point over the training camp. This wouldn't be too powerful due to the fact that normal training for most players takes around 6-8 weeks to advance a point depending on coaching and their teamwork ratings, and given the Maximum length of an average players career (14 seasons 16-30) then they would ultimately gain 14 total points through training camp. the risk of course being going up against talent levels if you want to improve one of those stats.

Hello Admin,
how many days or weeks are you planning to stop the games between season 1 and season 2?
Starting from this info we can suggest how long should be the Training Camp.

It is a nice idea, but I believe that the Intelligence skill should remain unchanged. There are enough variables already, with the exception of Talent, Teamwork, Consistency and Intelligence!

Although, I guess you could make the player gain a Degree. Therefore, intelligence increases

Maybe TC could give to yougster +0,5 Talent x year, from 18 YO on no more talent upgrade. Young players usually learn quicker than senior and is a fair way to tie an unfortunate low talent.
