Yes I saw that one, but it doesn't say that it becomes worse as the other skills goes up. Through your logic it makes sense, but what if it continuously add the same effect?

Through your logic a QB with 14 passing could have almost any Talent rating and it wouldn't matter, since the BPOS wouldn't matter. I doubt that to be honest, but your explanation is the best one yet. Remember that a Talent 0.5 could with insane amount of luck get 14 in passing skill.

actually, im not saying BPOS effect decreases, im actually saying it stays the same.. but that its effect is relative to the other major skills...

for example, going from 1 star BPOS to 5 Star BPOS would be equvalent of moving a major from 4 to 20... if you had 4's in all your majors and one went from 4 to 20, that would 'seem' to be a huge change, in fact the 'percentage' of total majors would be alot higher, if you had the same situation where they were all 20, and one went from 4 to 20, while the value of the change would be the same, the percentage change of total majors would be only small, so it would be perceived as less important... fact is its all relative... hence why early on BPOS was everything, as it was the first major skill people got increased rapidly, since then other majors have increased in the top teams and the effect of BPOS is perceived to be less... even though it is actually as effective as before.

put it this way... if im driving at 30 miles per hour.. and i increae my speed by 10, it feels a hell of a lot more of a change, than if im traveling at 80 miles an hour and i increase it by 10... its all relative

You got me convinced I'll continue to work on players with 4.5+ BPOS Hopefully in a couple of season my entire team will only contain those kind of players

I think they should change the bpos / in-game ratings from stars to roses in order to reduce the confusion when discussin

(PS sarcasm can be miscontrued as bitterness)

I feel BPOS is VERY important in the short term, but is only relatively important in the long term. When you look at teams like Cro's, although he has VERY low BPOS, his players are very highly developed, the portion of them probably at around 90% of their max development. So although he has low BPOS, he has near end-game skills.

That being said, I feel 2.5*+ talent players are common enough that they are solely what teams in Div. IV+ should be built out of.
