Still need help here folks as I've lost another match to pass every play opponent and its getting me down!!!

Defense were set to defend pass on each play 3-4 and playing an opponent who certainly shouldn't have far superior players to my own.

Don't mind losing, quite good at it, but not when I've done my homework

are you trying to make a monkey outta me???

a noisy noise annoys an oyster

well i wonder about that a lot myself as to what goes into to roll of the defense because a better team should win as this isnt REAL people out there and the player have no emotion or hype to worry about

I was quite surprised to get a win against you, but to say that your players are superior to mine when they have just torched your defense isn't fair in my opinion. Overall team I think you are right, but in this situation it is mainly quarterback + receivers against your pass defenders, and I might have stronger players on those specific positions. Again I don't know, since I haven't scouted every single player your got.

If you look at the match report and choose the "stats" tab then you can see that on the day our players were very even. You had an average start rating of 3.08 stars and mine was 3.32 stars, so very similar and even team with a small weight in favour of my team.

Now I don't know how your Consistency are on all your players either, but some of my players that had a good game got Consistency in the lower end and that might have influenced their performance. So I could have been lucky that all the Consistency rolls went in the positive direction and improved my players. Highly unlikely, but it could happen.

Personally I think again it is about that we don't know what skills actually does, so we might have trained our players in the wrong skills and wasted time, gained grey hairs and torn out the hair in the end.

I would love to get some advice on what people think Cornerbacks and Safeties should train in.

PS. We also don't know if Experience have any influence on the game, if it does then I have a few with decent Experience

No offense meant
at least the game positional assessment seems to suggest his passing offense is much better than your defense(db/pr)

And his defense at the wery least seems slightly better than your defense.

(PRolly theres not toomuch of a difference between both the offenses)

Let me say that the new defensive add on in the match orders is all fluff in my opinion and i don't think it does squat. I think it's just for looks and to and it's an attempt to look like they actually added to the game in the offseason.

If they (developers) can't add alot of the simpler suggestions to the game, what makes you think this new adition actually works?

Like I said, I believe it's all fluff.

Just ran the rating number for easier comparison

Total Offense Average:

Start

CFT --- 37.5 --- 11 players --- 3.41 average
BIG --- 35.5 --- 11 players --- 3.23 average

End
CFT --- 32.5 --- 11 players --- 2.95 average
BIG --- 32.5 --- 11 players --- 2.95 average

Total Defense Average:

Start

CFT --- 37.0 --- 11 players --- 3.36 average
BIG --- 34.5 --- 11 players --- 3.14 average

End
CFT --- 32.0 --- 11 players --- 2.91 average
BIG --- 31.0 --- 11 players --- 2.82 average

My offense were stronger than your defense from start to end.

My defense were stronger than your offense in the beginning, but finished a little big weaker than your offense.

As I said earlier it looks like I just hit the form on the day.

It does seem that the run/pass setting only have a very minor influence on the game. We also don't know the effect of having a INT 20 MLB against a INT 1 MLB. How often do the read and change the play to the correct one?
