i'm confused, why do we think he hasn't played much?
i must be missing something
he's only just transfered to the new team, hence the 0 weeks at club
the BPOS rating isn't always skill related so much as playing a good amount of games in a position, if he has a high talent then his BPOS goes up faster, plus he's twenty, so without access to historic stats we can't know how long he's been around or playing...

i haven't scouted him, but i'm presuming the rating is possible in relation to talent limits?

I don't see why this is so special
if he has got3,5 talentor higher then it is just possible so why do you think it can't be

I think what i'm having problem understanding is that he's only played 10 games ... i thought rating came from experience and talent?

also, how is it possible when his wage is only $1600?

What in the world is 'rating' then if it can be so high when everything else is so low?

Here's another guy:

Jörg Schäfer ID 324992

18yrs old 3.5 rated CB who has played in 18 games and has only recored 1 tackle. (this would go against what you just said stoo)

I think i need a mod or admin to explain 1) how is this rating possible with a player with such little experience and 2) how is Ghostbuster about to secure such high rated players (multiple players 2.5 or higher for pennys) for such a low price?

the games count in the stats tab only relates to this season

that player has been going since season 2, so prob has quite a few more games under his belt.

he's only just transfered onto that team

yeah, I just saw that. So he started when he was 16 and has played for two season. Why are his experience and wage so low then?

I'd also ask why he was sold for pennys but I guess that is related to having a low talent or something ... but still.

also, you don't need to be any good to have a high positional rating, it's not skill related.

think of bpos as more that player's affinity for that position, i.e how comfortable he is playing there rather than anywhere else. like in RL, just because the player likes playing at a certain position doesn't mean he's actually any good there.

also, think of it as an aditional skill, so when deciding who to play in a particular place, weigh in bpos as you would tackling etc...

hope this helps

totally helps stoo. I'm just trying to figure out what is the most important feature to look at when scouting talent and when I look at my stats page I see that Rating is 'always' higher on winning teams in the lower divisions.
