$106,000 seems a bit low for a 60,000 seat stadium? I made around $118,000 from my 6000 stadium last week. Joys of VIP seats

It was a friendly, so not everybody came, and regular seats fill first, then executive, and then VIP.

i guess this is why you build VIP and Executive seats first ...

think your a little wrong on the regular seats filling first rule...

think you will find that spectator numbers are spread across all seating, dependent on the percentage of seating... so say you had 1000 VIP, 2000EXEC, and 17000 standard, and you got 10000 people turning up, you would end up with 500 people in VIP, 1000 in Exec, and 8500 in Standard..

but you are right about the point it was a friendly, and so attendance will never fill a 60k stadium in a friendly...

Oh yes, that is correct. The large stadiums just have a high percentage of regular seats. So the income would still be cut.

Oh ... well that kind of sucks. Well then, is there some sort of economy of scale that would suggest we should build VIP/Ex. seats first. WOuld the sheer number of standard seats simply offset the price of VIP/Ex. seats? Especially if the seats fill up based on %??

VIP gives the best return on investment. Then Executive. That's all I have for my answer.

I dig, and that's why i'm continuing to follow the model ... but it does make me wonder. I wish we had a guy good with numbers in the house.

Building too big a stadium doesn't work, so you may want to keep it low, around 40,000 seats if you plan on losing.

As for a numbers guy, serrie figured out the return on investment quickly, ask him I guess. And I'm pretty sure either merc or pstimpel are good with numbers.
