How long does it take to build a stadium. I think I went through all the steps...but I've looked at my stadium in the past 4 day and it hasn't shown any improvement!

14 days.

If you put your mouse on the construction page over the stand you are building, it will show you the end-date.

The Help/FAQ has a section that tells you all about construction along with how long each sort takes..

If you order a construction between 00:00 and 00:29 then is one day less of construction time because at 00:30 are constructions updated.
