But why do you disagree, its a fair point saying that you disagree, but it isn't really helpful, and doesn't add to the discussion just saying that you disagree. So therefore, I ask what is your opinion as to why you disagree? As for myself I just took the time as a new player reading this very in depth and controlled discussion, and I am yet to have an opinion on it as I am only new to the game but I am certain I shall stick it out for the long run.

I'm gonna agree with Squish here, he's making a hell of an arguement. The prize money should be the same for all divisions. I don't see where having a difference is going to put this game ahead any.I'm in first place of a Div IV, so if I win out I get $365,000 prize money, why should the 6th place guy in the Top division get more than me, or why should the top guy get $500,000.

There's a big difference between $500K and $365K. That difference is that person can build: 1,125 more VIP seats with the extra money, or 1,928 more Exec seats, or build 4500 more normal seats than I can/will be able to. Where's the fairness in that? That person could make up to $135K more on a week to week basis. Multiply that over the course of the season and damn...

WOW, you can build 1125 VIP boxes for 135K? how do you do that??
I can only build 192 VIP boxes for 135K

135k difference doesn't build nearly that amount of seats. you might want to double check the figures there. 400k = 1000 exec seats. you can't look at what 500k does you have to look at the differential.

having said that I do agree that the 10% stratiation is huge i think it needs to be more of a thin raise 2% should be fine. I'll use 500 K for winning the top division as my base of merit.

500k for top division winner
490k for second place
480k for 3rd so on so forth

490k for div II.1 winner
481.5k for second place
etc

481.5k for div III.1 winner
471.6k for second
etc

471.6k for iv.1 winner
462.2k for second
etc.

this levels the playing field a bit more. coffee kicked in and i reconsidered my sponsorship statement.

But the top division needs more money for the higher wages that come with the best players!

In the long run, yes. But in the short term, no!

long term economic prosperity is the biggest concern for me. It's the thing that drives long term players away in droves.

I've certainly made my decision now, and I am going to have to go with a minute increase, something like 1 - 2 % increase, as this makes sense for the divisions being higher, but it wouldn't make things ridiculously stupid such as having a very large gap in the economic side of things. There is definitely an issue though with the long term economy and it needs sorting for sure, otherwise like merc said, there will be a depleted amount of long term players in the game.
