No, it's the distance to your own end zone



I'm not that familiar with the way this is handled but normally you have to add 16 yards to the line of scrimmiage. 10 yard, because the Goal is on the end of the endzone and 6 yards, because you are kicking behind your own line.

My 4th down orders are set on rushing if 1 yard needed, and since the last update, my team should attempt to convert a 4th down only in the opponent's half.

However I keep getting this kind of situations : it's 4th & long and in my own territory, and I run.

In your last game (28:0 vs. West Glasgow Highlanders) there wasn't any 4th down rush or am I missing something?

can you please be more specific around determing the distance for field goal? since, my setup says to take field goal if distance is <40 yds.


3rd-12-KON68 Rush Marcel Oreščanin runs for -2 yards. Tackled by Andraš Dačić.
Punt Đorđe Bulović performs the punt. The offense will start on 72 yards from the end zone.


here is 32yds distance to endzone. if i knew that by "distance" additional 10yds should be calculated, i could set order <50 and probably had more chances to change my score.
anyway, please clarify "distance" in the orders/rules, or check your scripts.

The punt doesn't happen at the line of scrimmage. You need to add about 7 (I'll check for sure before putting it in the rules) yards to that. So this situation is OK.

but in that case, 32+7= 39 and still <40?
