IMO this is totaly overrated!

The admins will do all things necesary to bring this game forward. The wages raise is quite important to keep the economy stable here.

On the other hand they will not do things like sending clubs over the edge, that would not make any sense! They told about slightly changes in offseason S2-S3 and another slightly changes after S3 if needed.

I remember them posting this also.
Just to play it safe.....don't go crazy spending you prize money until you figure out you players salaries you have to pay. Everyone should be alright if you look at your rosters, see players that you have kept and never played and sell them.....you don't need a large roster of players and half of them never sniff the field.

I don't seem to recall them saying "They will not do things like sending clubs over the edge." Obviously, if you have a well managed team, you'll be fine, they're not trying to screw us over. But if you've got 60 guys on your team, you're probably in for some trouble. I also agree the raises are very important to help keep the economy stable. But it's not the admin's fault if your team falls $400,000 into the hole.

All I came here to say is be careful. I'd really hate to see someone lose their team because they didn't account for wage increases. And it's likely to happen to a couple squads anyways. But I'm just trying to be the voice of caution here.

I've got 70 players on my roster and I'm not in any trouble. It will not cost that much to have a roster full of players, even when their wages double. Even doubled, it's still cheap and the Admins indicated they know this. Having extra players is worth it IMO, especially when:

1) starters get injured
2) you're building a team for the future while using your current team to win games
3) you're making money by buying players, training them and selling them for large amounts of money

Many teams have been successful from doing this, including the Iron Bowl winner Duck-Bills.

Lol. I mostly agree with ya. Like I said before, just giving caution to some teams that seem to be pushing the envelope right now, unless they have some serious money in the bank, which of course I can't know. This is the rookie forum, I was figuring the advice was going to be available to those of us who don't know exactly what we're doing, and decide to train 4 or 5 QBs at a time. In like 30 seconds I found this example, so there has to be more..

Fighting Flamingos (1166) 64 players
Player Salaries per week: $149,879
League Game Stadium Income per week: $132,500

Can I say for certain he's in serious trouble? No, of course not. But the indicators say if he's not been training very well rounded players, but rather focusing on one skill like most resellers I've seen tend to do.. he's gonna be putting quite a few players up for sale in the next two weeks.

Yep, some teams will be in trouble within some days. But they survived until now only because the wrong (easy) economy. They have to learn that successful management is one of the most important parts of the game, much more important than winning nice cups or promoting...

Let us recall this in 2 weeks...we will know much more.

We tested new wages for whole week and this year won't be drastic change (1.2 - 1.8 ratio). But those who train "One skill Wonders" instead of all-round players will face quite a challenge in season 4. In our tests we trained only one skill for whole season 3 and wages did triple in that case for season 4, but the wages in season 4 could be much lower (1.5 - 2 ratio) if managers train all-around players.

Building seats will become very important for big roster teams with good coaches and facilities and also training all-around skills instead of just one. We call this kind of players One Skill Wonders (OSW) and you could quote this one. This game will become much more management game in upcoming seasons than the construction business. Managers will have to decide what kind of and how many players would like to have, do they have enough income for skill progressive wages and many more. Now the game has become much more challenge than it was before.

I like the sounds of it all but I hope GI still keeps the game simple and not to crazy.
