Even though my players havn't gotten a big increase in their skill level (also trained relativly sortet on several skills per player)I think I'll still gonna save my prize money which is roughly 500-600k to when the next season start (going safe)

I think that's the smart play here. I mean, if you're salaries double and you're first game isn't at home..we could be talking some serious trouble for quite a few teams.

Thisis the reason not to go crazy building in the offseason. Wait and see what the wage increase is then spend on more seats and leave yourself money for salaries and maintenance etc.

It seems like it will be hitting the more developed clubs A LOT more then nubs like myself. I'll be having a hard time not investing heavy in stadium. I dont have any uber players to drastically raise my salary level.. I hope.

I also agree with that. Although I have no evidence to back it up, I'd think the younger clubs would be fine spending their prize money, especially if you've been around less than a full season. There's no way on earth 3 weeks of salaries would even put you at -$400,000, unless you were unjustifiably loaded with players. It's the guys who have been around the full two seasons that have the sweatin to do.

Personally, I plan on keeping $250,000 from my end of season prize money available. Who knows, there could be some stud on the transfer market, and me without the money to bid on him..that would suck..

Yes there actually was a stud on the market...............But somebody purchased my contract. You can ask my wife if she'll sell. I'm going to take a chance since I took over mid-season and try to get some building done. Hopefully it won't biteth mine posterior.

I'm hoping admin will give us bonus money the day before the double increase in players salary. This way you can work the numbers. I'm always working my numbers as I'm sure many of you do as well, however, I think it would be easier that way because you never know what they might just throw at you on the off season.
Make the changes in two days. Bonus money first day and everything else the next day then we can move on with the rest of the season.
Well it doesn't really matter because in the end I'm sure admin know what their're doing they've done a great job with GI and continue to do so.
Oh, does anybody know if coach salary is going up as well?
Training facility's might be in trouble too. Spending the money to train your players/young players for your ball club only not to be able to afford them a couple years later...I don't know. In the end it will all even out.

Everyone considering some investments should be very careful. I formed my team at the beginning of the first season and didn't change it much. Players trained whole season without coaches and at the beginning of the season two salaries gone double.
In the off season I maximized the coaching stuff and almost didn't change a roster. So I suppose that my salaries will go sky high.

Haha..Yuppers..I saw most of you players were making about $3-5k a week. Imagine if their making $8-15k..

Ex. 36 players on your team x average salary of $11,125k(just an estimate) a week = $400.5k a week.
Assuming you started the season with no money left over due to construction of stadium.. If you're first game was at home, but your stadium was under construction so you didn't bring in income, you would lose your team..

Hopefully people who don't visit the forums very often see these threads, it could save someone's team..

Best of luck to you all

IMO this is totaly overrated!

The admins will do all things necesary to bring this game forward. The wages raise is quite important to keep the economy stable here.

On the other hand they will not do things like sending clubs over the edge, that would not make any sense! They told about slightly changes in offseason S2-S3 and another slightly changes after S3 if needed.

Don't get me wrong, I don't think it's going to be that bad either , except for those managers which are poor managers, and believe me, they're out there..

But at the same time, I would hate to go have to sell some of my players to get out of the hole because I wanted to build 200 more seats..

you might have to sale some of your seats.
