I'm contemplating training my QB's speed, but is it possible to designate the QB to run? Like QB sneaks, sweeps and the option?

QBs sometimes run but i don't think you can set how often they run

And it can go to extremes, from yards loss, to 50-60yrd runs, crazy

Yeah, they don't run very often...I think its more of a scramble attempt.

Although if you're happy with his pocket passer qualites..it can't hurt to make him more versatile, you know, in case you ever play a team as talented defensively as mine..

What is what?

I'd stick with primary skills for now, too early in the game for anyone to have drawn any real conclusions about things like scrambling quarterbacks.

my QB seems to scramble quite a bit, having rushed for 52yds once and has also rushed for 2 TDs. pity he's an old fart and is retiring at the end of the season

My young QB had 2 scrambles today. One for 20 yards and one for 11 yards I'm waiting for more

o they can and well, first game for my 16 year old QB(actually a cornerback) ran for like a 50 yard touchdown. sick stuff
