I see that I made some major financial mistakes on this, my first team. It's probably going to go broke before long so I want to cut my losses and start over. I was just going to abandon this account and tried to make a different one but the game wouldn't let me. Do any of you know any way I can ditch this account and start over?

maybe you can try to contact the
developers from the home section.
And ask them.
Is it really that bad.
Cant you sell
all the expensive players and staff ?
play a friendly against a big stadium Team?
Peace Piet

You only have your team for 3 days!? Come on, don't be a quiter. Every beginning is hard.

If you want a new team, don't login for 3 weeks(old team gets deleted) and than apply again.

Plus it's allowed to have up to 400.000 dollar in the red.

If you want to push through the financial difficulties, heres how:

1. schedule friendlies (depending on the stadium size, you can make some major cash for a game that doesnt count for anything. You may have to spam a bunch of people with challeneges, but its worth it)

2. set your sponsers after EVERY match (thats like $12k per league game and for friendlies)

3. cut players until you have less than 35. 30 would be the bare minimum to cover all positions (including kicker and special teams) but injuries can happen. If you do cut payroll, be sure to train on a lower intensity to reduce risk of injuries.

4. Build your stadium. Instead of building each side equally, start building on the side that has the least number of seats so that you get revenue while you build.

5. stick it out till the end of the season. Even if you didn't make it that far in the cup, or you don't win your division, you do get some good cash at the end of the season for where you did place. refer to end of season in the faq's (I suggest spending this cash on stadium improvements)

hope this helps

Just go with it, I made some huge financial mistakes when I first got here too. I not only started building a stadium over my original seats, I also bought 20 attacking coaches...submitted it and then bought 8 defensive coaches...and then submitted that thinking they would add up. Then, so I wouldn't only have 8 defensive coaches I got rid of those and bought 15 more. I'm the reason it now says "Coach Team" instead of "Coaches" lol.

Would recommend reading the " Announcement : PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING! " sticky. Not only does it give you tips on making money but it also gives you examples of which attributes to look for in players for each position. As a basic guide it's great, and using it I am undefeated in 10 league matches. Won a few friendlies too.

Don't believe the Best position, use your own judgement. My starting RB and QB were linemen when I started.

Most of all relax. Like any fan you want to do well and prove yourself, but it will take time get used to game mechanics, player ratings, training schedules, etc. Lets be honest you're not going to achieve promotion this season so just aim to get as high as you can to earn as much as possible for starting next season. Also if nobody is buying your players but you want them off the wage bill then fire them. Remember it costs you $2,500 every time you place a player on the market, but as far as i know to fire them it costs nothing.

Don't be ready to start over cause you can come out of it. I was down at bout $50,000 for 3 weeks running before i realised I would be better off expanding my stadium to earn more cash, which in turn lets you either buy more players to improve training, which in turn helps you win games, which in turn gives you more money from sponsors, which in turn helps you expand the stadium more, etc etc etc.

Final bit of waffle, lookout for a friendly cup to play in. Normally games are played at biggest stadium so you don't even have to look for friendlies, it's in the cup schedule.

GL from here on in and and help needed we're all here for ya!!

I did that too...but was lucky because because I had 2 straight road games and didn't lose any income. Maybe I just unlucky though, I had fewer home games my first partial season.

Anyway, in life you can't hit the reset button everytime you screw up.
