OK tommy, all I'm saying is that a good player late in the draft is better then one early. Let's put it this way. Would you rather have Manning for a 1st round pick or a sixth round pick?

Are you kidding? It's the Lions. They'll see that and pick him for sure!

Apparently Stafford has been going around telling his former teammates at Georgia that a deal is almost done for him to be the number 1 pick. So I'd say he'll be the guy. Not sure what I think about picking a QB who can't even keep his mouth shut about something that isn't official to run your offense for the next 10 years, but that's why the Lion's front office get paid the big bucks and I'm sitting here. Hopefully it works out but I doubt it does.
