you can't pass up on a quarterback with stafford's potential. in grid-iron terms, he has 5 talent, 18 intel, 15 passing, 18 strength, 20 teamwork, and 10 consistency

Yep consistent picks right to the Tide Defenders but yes Matt is a good QB that i think will be better than any Big 12 QB just because he knows what its like to get hit 5 or more times a game

It could be sec bias but i think having trouble in your college years helps you better int he nfl if you look at Vince Young great player but never had any trouble then hits the nfl wall and has trouble handling it

I don't see any Qb's in this draft.....Unless you want another Tim Couch

i wont argue with that statement i just think that Matt could be a good QB but none of them jump out at me unlike the last 2 classes

What they need to do is take Smith at 1 then a DE at 20. Get the QB next year or in the 2nd or 3rd round, but make sure that someone is there to keep him upright.

That said, until Ford sells the team I know they won't do anything smart. So they'll either be taking Stafford and he'll be dead by next years draft(at which time they'll take another QB), or they'll take Crabtree.

I really do feel sorry for ya'll Lions fans check this out..

If only I was in charge like on Madden.. I'd draft Jason Smith at 1, Eben Britton at 20, and probably James Laurinitis with the 1st in the 2nd round..But this isn't Madden, and the team doesn't get to move to L.A.

what i dont get is why everyone passes up on Andre as if hes got aids or something.....anyone happen to watch any Alabama games over the past few years would see that hes a outstanding left tackle but because he was overwhelmed at the combine which i think the whole event it a joke no one wants to touch him but as i have always said id rather go in the middle or end of the first round then the top 10 and get my money later and be on a good team than have my money but only have 2 wins

I have to agree with the combine bein a joke. Malcolm Jenkins is supposed to be one of the, if not the best CB in the draft but is projected to go late 1st round because of the combine. The Saints need to draft him.

Let's see, the reason they passed on Andre is because he was suspended for 2009 Sugar Bowl vs. Utah for improper dealings with an agent. Second, he showed up to the combine out of shape and unsure if he was to workout. Third, he chose not to workout and left the combine early while failing to announce it to his group leader. Real mature and ready for the NFL. Yeah this guy is great.
