ouch, pls dont put in more random elements, this sounds like you roll the dice for picking teams and send them into bankruptcy...

Inflation in the market is inevitable. at some point teams will have their stadiums built, and turn to spend that cash on players. which in turn will drive up the market value.

I trust this doesn't equate to "penalise those who've invested their profits wisely" and "give a free ride to those who've spent money like water and not thought past tomorrow"?

Whatever you do, unlike last seasons "random" wage increase, please can you give us all some notice as to what's increasing and by how much. It's vital to those of us who enjoy the financial/planning side of this game to know about changes to outgoings and income.
Thanks

I think that they mean more the TL market is going to see inflation not so much the "controlled" aspects.

Not saying that inflation will be a good thing, but it will bring in strategy a lot more. Do you build the New York Yankee way and overpay for a bunch of great players? Or do you do it the Minnesota Twin way and keep your roster intact for the most part and train up your youth players?

Sorry if I lost anyone with the baseball references, but with them being the only sport without a salary cap I figured it was easier to use that.

Overpaying for players that never play as well as they did with their old team and still help you finish at the bottom of the division?

We've done calcualtions and tests and players can easily go to 70.000 or more USD wage per week when fully developed. If you have 50 players averaging 50k USD wage that's 2.5 million per every week. And with 50k stadium (exe and vip full) you get 2.475 mio per home game and much less from friendlies. So i there is no AFLC or CUP, it's no so much money again.

A lot of money is in the game for some builders at the moment, because now we are in immature phase of the game, where builders have a lot of money but this is somehow unavoidable.
If there are going to be in not near future corrections of the financial aspect, it will be done very carefully and based on calculation, local database tests and fair for everyone (this week we're doin' it again test runs).

Every change we will make it won't drasticly reduce difference between newcomer and veteran of the game who will always have an advantage if he manages good. But in 10 seasons time should be 10 year and 5 year veteran much closer than 5 year vet and newbie. That is our concern.
