Stats are up. I really don't know how the Gnomes lost that game but they have an excellent record of tackling

Quite easy to loose if you don't tackle at all...

So distressed about that loss. Close to punching som 'Sell' buttons on Saturday....

I meant they have been great at tackling and avoiding big plays. Really making an offense work.

In the end too many offensive players had bad rolls to get the win. Always a tough one to take as a few rolls would have meant you would survive the bad performance but remember that form is temporary but class is permanent!

Plus Hone field advantage now seems to be a thing and I don't think the tricky Hyenas are ad weak as they let on. Away wins vs tough teams will be a hard slog this season.

Home field advantage being a big deal now according to a thread in General Discussions.

I think that settles the question of the Knights against the Packers. The Knights are further ahead on their rebuild than I had expected.

East Phoenix will be a tough ask to beat at home. Especially with one of my linebackers on the injury list (and likely out for the game against the Gnomes as well). I still want to bet on me and it would put me in an incredible position going forward.

Raiders vs Chums is also a good game. I feel like Chums might be slightly stronger but away from home that could even up.

Pro's Gnomes... Same thing as ever season. Make og break for the Gnomes!

If I get three games behind Pro's, the only reason I would play to win is for the finances and the Cup - which I likely am out of in round 4 after this BOT team... Just not my season and shows that one mistake (Wrong lineup vs. Knights) and a bad game vs. Hyenas is enough to loose pace in the promotion race.

Oh, well... it's almost Christmas and my Steelers where a steady hand from beating Patriots... I see a similar ending to my next game.

True. My team has played similar to the Patriots as well. Struggled a bit on defense but the offense has gotten the job done when the game was on the line.

We have had 4 meetings. The away side has won on all 4 occasions. A look back and shows that we have averaged 81 points between on us in those games. The margin of victory has been 35, 7, 6 and 4. So exceptionally close except for the first game.

Should be fun.

I am not as generous as the Gnomes but I still give gifts.

Rory Burke was meant to be a DT, not lbm. Was sure I set that right. Must have misclicked. I did double check my orders but only that they were legal. Still with 2 lbm hopefully he does not get targeted too much today. Max Cox will be back from injury for my next non bot game at least.

I have to apologise to the Gnomes. I have simply gotten incredibly lucky in so many games this season. None more than this one. Thar amount of luck was abusive. (I mean I am still taking the win:p)

The better team lost. I would also say I could see 15-3 taking the division.

This home field "boost" teams are receiving is getting absolutely ridiculous

I had been on the fence about it being so different until today. I always felt that I could explain wins and losses, mainly down to stamina/consistency mismatches (for or against) across the field. Now I realize how bad it has become. Today's match has blown all logic out the water.

I fully understand now why players have been cursing this 'update' and claiming the game has been ruined.

Could be time to find a new game. Was fun whilst it lasted though

(If anyone is currently playing a similar game on another site please drop me a message giving me your thoughts on it )
