So... new season and new teams.

We got the botted trains from TD, so there are two bots to start with.

Will it be Pro's and Gnomes again? Or will other teams join the race for promotion???Last edited on 2018-03-25 at 11:02

If you are ever feeling down, just know that neither of Dorfenschmirtz's parents showed up to his birth.

Up here a season early than planned 2 bots certainly helps but might be a struggle!

Avoided going bot after a brief visit to TD, but had to strip my team by all veterans. This season will be about surviving in terms of competition. Looking forward to make some new friends after learning enjoying games in Div II.3 in past seasons.

Hectic week so stats will likely have to wait till week 2.

Stats. Was all set not including FB/HBs this season as outside of the Rams they did little. OF course the last game I did was the Gnomes one from last week where Rasmussen had two TD passes to their FB Stuck both of his in as receivers. If anyone starts to seriously run I might stick them back in.

Some teams are a little all over the place so far but that could largely be down to opposition and I expect things to settle down. For instance against Phoenix the Knights looked like the Cowboys O-line keeping everything settled after this had been an area of concern for them last year. Against Raiders they went back to the old Seattle Seahawks technique of needing the QB to start running as soon as the ball was snapped...

Also the Gnomes defense completely shut up the Packers offense while my own didn't do so well in that regard.

Still early days in the season. Mine Gnomes shutting down Packers O does not mean much since everyone slips and misses a game or two along the season.

Funny thing - those catching FB's... not quite sure how I should play them. Bentzen is clearly my best catching FB but Brauner seems to be the one targetted.. Oh, well. As long at they are for TD I should not be complaining...

Next week will see a great matchup between Chums and Pro's. Is there any option where both teams loose? I would like that option, please...

I am just hoping for a bit more from my d linemen. Will have to keep an eye on Schnell to see how quick his performances tail off. He did seem to have a career season last year though!

not had much time to post this season, but it looks like this week sets the tone

If the Pro's and the Gnomes both win, i see it as a two horse race

Knights - was hoping to win the 1st week, so bad start and a loss this week, could be over

Anarchy - not been tested yet, some good players, but patchy in places for the good teams to exploit

East Phoenix - weird, massive salary, good players all over, but not on the field?

Raiders - some great players, but not all round, mid table, some upsets, both ways

Hyenas - in rebuild mode, great result last week- see above!

Packers - on paper a good balanced team, but a young one, OL&DL that young, with wages that high are low on physicals, and may be unbalanced, that said, they faced the 2 best teams first 2 weeks

Pro's - look strong all over, ageing in some key positions, good chance though

Gnomes - better results than the players suggest, but does well consistently, so can't be counted out

Title favourites -

Pro's, but very tight
