Offense is obviously doing incredible work recently. Can't help but feel like conceding so many points (42 in both my last two games) will bite me at some point.

Cheers SrednaD for the early Christmas present.

Insane game from Lauritsen to give Phoenix the win in that shoot out. Will be looking at his development with interest. He won't keep up that level but if he is anywhere close to it Phoenix will be near impossible to stop.

Staten's display today was made even more impressive by the fact that he did not get that much protection. Strnad's performance at DE for me this season has been underwhelming at less than half his performance from last year. I have never seen him outside a top 5 DE before so I hope he gets out of that slump. I think that would be a massive boost to my defense and stick them back into where they should be.

Now, I just have to win all the remaining games... Piece of cake.

And Santa will not come by Christy's again!

Sorry for crossing your plan SrednaD, I have no clue how my team managed to beat yours. I am in rebuilding mode and would not have expected to get away with a W today. You clearly outperformed me in the second half. Overtime always seems to be very random.

Today went well for me for anyway.

The offense is still ticking along nicely. Not terrible but not great from the defense.

Most importantly the Gnomes picked up a second loss. I want as many teams at least two games behind me as possible. Having said that I was 2 games ahead of Gnomes after 6 games in season 23 and was level going into the last week so thry are not out of it.

So stats will be up at some point tomorrow.

However before then I was curious and checked back on average points per game in my stats from previous seasons. I had in my head that better than 40 points was good for an offense/bad for defense and the opposite for under 30. Turns out I was about right. Remember these only contain matches with no bot components.

Season Average League
26 37.25 II.2 (so far obviously)
25 37.43 II.2
24 36.16 II.2
23 36.27 III.5
22 34.33 III.5
21 32.46 III.5
20 33.12 III.5

I thought I had done this in season 19 in IV 13 but can't find it if I did. Impressively consistent. I am curious as to how this holds over different divisions. It also shows how defensive III.5 was a while back. League leaders tend to do better than this. It was brought to mind with how my defense has been underperforming compared to other seasons. Also that the Gnomes offense has yet to kick off with 2 matches of 28 points out of 2. Both of these units were far more successful last season (40.4 points for Gnomes offense and 31.56 points for my defense).

I've been keeping track of some data from my divisions in NA, only accounting for non-bot matchups.
My Team Average Score:
Season------Average-----League
26-------------49.50---------TD
25-------------43.27---------II.2
24-------------55.57---------III.6
23-------------38.00---------II.1 (25.06 if I include 9 matches where I played my bench)
22-------------35.91---------III.7
21-------------30.42---------III.7

Division Average Score:
Season------Average-----League
26-------------37.43---------TD
25-------------32.68---------II.2
24-------------31.76---------III.6
23-------------32.13---------II.1
22-------------20.56---------III.7
21-------------20.75---------III.7

Stats are up. I really don't know how the Gnomes lost that game but they have an excellent record of tackling and have yet to miss one. Unlike the Chums/Packers game which had both sides missing about 42% of tackles.

Some of those stats for the NA top division are crazy. Thanks for those stats, some interesting things to think about.
